It'd been a long three years that Loki had remained in this dull prison cell. Little privacy to be had save for what he created himself in his illusions. These simple creatures down here couldn't tell what was magic if it flayed them alive. Mother ordered the guards to bring him books but save for her astral visits he'd had only his own company to keep. Better than most. It'd allowed him the time to think and reflect, which he supposed was what it was supposed to do, only he didn't feel overwhelming guilt and regret like Odin might've wanted. There was a great torrid of feelings there beneath the surface, but unwarranted complexes about what'd occurred on Midguard and Johtunheim weren't a part of them.
Leaning his head back against the wall, he sat on his bed, legs crossed before him. Years ago, before all this happened, he recalled what it was like to live in Thor's shadow. Second to his omega brother whom always took the spotlight: the warrior who was to be king. Arrogant and pig headed, vain and rash. Loki could see the disaster it was headed towards. That wasn't all there was to him but Thor refused to even think of his role as an omega or anything outside of the battle ready warrior he'd chosen to be. I'd come back to bite him, and it had.
Things hadn't completely gone to plan after he'd found out his heritage, but who could blame him? Thor... Well, Thor had always had the most comforting scent to him. Alluring. Addicting. Instinct told him that his brother would be the perfect mate despite their blood relations. They were close, once. Perhaps too close, until Thor started putting an end to their 'moments'. For a brief time he'd thought that perhaps...after he'd learned the truth that there might be a chance, but Thor had rejected him then as well.
He had destroyed the threat that was the Frost Giants, his own people, and yet he still was not worthy. Where he'd ended up after that made it feel like the universe was trying to engrave that lesson into him, if he believed in such a thing as universal grudges. Those were times that Loki didn't like to think about. Being under the influence of the staff had been a relief, even if he hadn't been in control.
In those three years since being captured and returned to Asguard, his brother had not visited him. Not even once. Freya proclaimed that he asked after him. Something about their father forbidding it. Loki didn't know if it was true or what he should believe in regards to Thor. Their relationship was strained, to say the least. They weren't really brothers. They weren't really anything.
His sentencing was coming up, finally. Odin would put on his theatrics and he'd finally get to learn what'd happen to him. How wonderful. It only took him three years to bother.

I would rather die a good man than die a great king
Thor " God of Thunder"
It had been a long journey to get to this point in time, since Loki's crimes were far greater than to just sweep them under the rug. His life had never been complicated as it was now. He had to some how get Loki of his radar and some how repay the damage of the debt to the society of Loki's behalf. Thinking wasn't his strongest point that was Loki's. He was simply the brawns and the muscle behind most operation. Thinking what tools of the trade he had to offer his father to allow him to have Loki back.
The question was, did Loki wanted to come back with him? did the time in prison unsettle his heart and break the ties they had as brothers. Well that was just the thing they weren't brothers any more, they were just Gods. They hadn't had a reason to be in each other's prescience and some how that got to him more. Rejecting Loki wasn't the easiest thing to do. He didn't want to, but he had to. The next few unforeseeable years he would be king and that's when his freedom would be cut-off protecting the nine realms. He wouldn't have the freedom he had now. He had no way of knowing when that limited time he had left was.
What made it worse that Loki wasn't just enough for him he was everything and that scared him even more. Loki had enough credentials about him that made him a perfect Alpha. He could see a future with Loki if it wasn't for the stained relationship that he had now. For now, Odin had specifically ordered him not to go to the prison that held him. Of course he was granted Books that would keep his mind occupied but the conversation would be thin and would only have his memories, thoughts, and probably his hatred for Thor and to Odin for putting him in this position in the first place even if it was Loki's own doing.
Thor wasn't the person that could comfort another, he had been reckless before head first before thinking about the consequences. He wasn't subtle to say the least. His own actions had brought a thorn to Odin's side on more than one occasion. Thor had to make him see sense, get him on the same wavelength it wasn't his strongest suit but it was the only trump card he had left to ask for Odin for this.
Only time would tell after he spoken to the crow's he was now awaiting to see his father. His father wouldn't be happy being within the chamber of his father's the two men stood. Of course Odin had a fair idea of what was what Thor wanted to do. "Let me guess, it's about Loki?" He asked finally turning around to meet his son's in the eyes.
Thor sighed mentally trying to think his words before hand and nodded to the question. "I know we've talked about this numerous of times but hear me out Father." Oidn's body language didn't change only his head tilted as if he was listening for his son to about it. There were no reason why Thor was trying to protect Loki now so what was it? maybe his brain didn't catch up to the fact that they weren't brothers anymore.
In all honesty Thor didn't know why he bothered now, but something deep with him in told him he needed to do this. "Let Loki come back with me father, and I will personally watch him."
"Watch him? he's the God of mischief he's not that for nothing you know you know how he will manipulate you and slip out from out of it."
"But we will be tethered by a bracelet by magic that will only allow us to be 3M apart I know that is something you can do Father. I will take anything that he does as further punishment and I will even stand in before him or go with him to the very same punishment that you originally had for him." Odin was mulling over Thor's thoughts into consideration.
"I will however give in father, if you do this for me I will become a fully fledged Omega. You can pick 3 suitors of your choosing and I will meet up with each one to find a match. The only thing that I ask that none of this get's spoken to Loki about it this is between us he doesn't need to know the full contract of our agreement." Thor didn't want Loki to realise that he was given into his father's demands it wasn't exactly a secret that Thor wasn't happy about being an omega he had often made remarks.
"I can't make no promises son but I will think about it."
