Sothe takes a long look at Link before heading into his own room to put his new stuff away, and to set the diminished pile of paper on his desk.

Ike goes into his room to put his stuff away, not minding that Link follows. he folds the clothes and puts them away, " so, anything else you want to do today?"

Link glances at sothe when he feels the mans eyes on him. It makes him nervous that he might be doing something wrong  and is relieved when sothe leaves.
Following ike to his room, he shrugs when he hears ikes question,  "i can't think of anything in particular. I'm fine doing whatever you wanna do. "

Ike finishes putting the rest of his things away and makes a considering noise, " well, we could go do some training. i did promise that little whelp Iida i'd help him improve. Not that i'd mind breaking a promise to that particular man, but i try not to be like that. Then you and i can have our usual match after. otherwise i guess we could hunt Impa down and get a solid day for the mission, then make a trip to see Tergo. I did promise i'd let him know when we were going."

Link rubs his arm and looks away, "you better keep your promises with him. He can get... kinda intense when he's mad."

Ike snorts, " like i can't handle him. but as i said, while i may not mind breaking it to him, it's a good idea to have a reputation of being trustworthy, so i'll do as i promised." he glances at his swords and grabs one, placing it onto his back, " i always feel naked without at least one of my blades on me, i know that's probably weird."

Link snorts softly and shakes his head, "if it is then I'm just as weird as you are."

[Namari]

Ike chuckles softly, " guess that's the life of a swordsman huh?" he heads for the door, " come on, lets go school some newbies. they've already shown some improvement since we started sparring out there, i think we've been motivating them to work harder."

Link follows ike, trying not to dread being near iida.

Iida huffs as he kicks another teammates ass in the training grounds

Ike saunters out and sees Iida, " oh hey, just the man i was looking for. If you wanted to work with me i have some time here to teach you." he grabs a couple practice swords and tucks them into his belt.

Iida leers at ike, throwing a quick glare at link before going over to ike,  "yeah sure why not. " he tightens his grip on his sword.

Link walks over to the other recruits so he can watch

Ike pulls one of the practice swords out and twirls it before taking a defensive stance, " alright, show me what you can do."

Iida briefly gets in to a stance before charging at ike and attacking, being a lot more aggressive than he needs to be

Ike easily steps aside and swats him with the flat of the blade, letting the other go rushing by him, " don;t be too eager, you make yourself an easy target."

Iida stumbles and quickly turns around, huffing and glaring at ike.

Link cant help but smile as ike shows iida who is superior.

Iida charges and swings at ike again

Ike rolls his eyes as Iida tries the exact same tactic, using the flat of his blade to swat at him once more as he sidesteps the attack, " you're getting frustrated, and it's making you predictable. control your emotions, or they'll control you."
