Ike gets a wary look, " my side is fine since that fairy healed me, and no, im not."

Link stands up, "cuckoos it is then. It'll be faster than walking anyway."

Ike slowly walks after him, " im...not certain that traveling by chicken is a good idea..."

[MissyLooni]

Link glances back at ike, "what? You look like you have string arms.  I do it all the time."

Ike looks once again baffled, " strong...arms... um, okay..." none of this made any sense to him. " so...are these special chickens?"

[MissyLooni]

Link blinks, "uh... no? All cuckoos can do this. In fact most kids learn how to fly with a cuckoo before they even ride a horse." He climbs over the roof to a high point of the castle where some cuckoos are perched and minding their own business, "If you're that scared you can always go to the eldin bridge and i'll take a cuckoo."

Ike huffs, " im not scared. you have to actually have some idea of what you're supposed to be scared of to b e scared. right now, im just confused. none of this makes a lick of sense."

Link gets over to the cuckoos before looking at ike, "its super easy. Just grab a cuckoo, jump off the roof, and we're high enough that we'll make it to the lake in minute or so." Link picks up a cuckoo, ignoring the squawking as he shows ikes the tuffs of feathers on each side of the cuckoo, "just grab on to each side here and dont let go until we are over the lake. If you fuck up dont worry, i have a few fairies."

Ike eyes bug out, " what the hell, are you crazy? we'll both die."

Link looks at ike and tilts his head, "what? No we won't." He frowns and sets the cuckoo down, "look, i wont make you do it if you dont want to... we can take the bridge."

Ike shakes his head, " it doesn;t make any sense. if we jump from here, we'll just fall to the ground with the chicken and die. there's no way we can possibly make it over the lake."

[MissyLooni]

"Neither does fairies bringing people back from the dead but it still happens. Look, I'm telling you we wont. Im telling you we dont have to if you dont want to. Otherwise, i can go first and you can see that it does work. Make a decision."

Ike pauses, considering that, " well, that's true...he looks nervously at the chickens, " well, if you have a fairy so you can revive me, i guess this is as good of a way to go as any, even if the fairy doesn;t work..." he grabs one of the now indignant chickens, gripping it tightly as he walks towards the edge. " goddess give me strength..." He leaps, eyes closed tightly.

Link smiles as he watches the cuckoo cluck and panic as it flies ike over to the lake. He grabs a cuckoo of his own and makes a running jump, laughing as he feels the poor bird fly next to ike.

Ike keeps his eyes squeezed shut, legs curls up as he clings for dear life.
