Soren, link and Lana continue walking, link doing his best to not appear distracted as he starts glancing at a slightly larger house that rests more towards the back of the village.

A rugged man is in the back of the yard, a large cigar in his mouth as he picks up his ax and centers some stumps to cut, not even paying attention to the group passing by.

Sheik notices Link get a bit distracted, and notes where he's looking at, mentally filing away the information. He compares the two's physical features, seeing some small resemblances. He keeps his voice low so only Link can hear, not looking at the other male, " i presume that is who we wish to avoid?"

Link looks at sheik before quickly looking forward, giving a small nod.

Lana sees the exit to the village leading to a path further in to the forest. She blinks as she notices the branches and leaves on the trees further down said path are stagnant regardless of the strong winds, "Thats... quite the barrier."

[Namari]

Impa looks at Lana, " indeed... how should we proceed? just call out and hope she hears us?"

[MissyLooni]

Lana walks over to the path until it comes to the barrier and she places her hand on it, "It's cold." Lana takes a steps back and sighs, "GREAT FAIRY! PLEASE OPEN UP! WE HAVE RUPEES FOR YOU!"

The ground underneath them shake and groan before large roots from nearby trees shoot up from the ground, trying to push the group back.

Lana and Soren jump back to avoid being hit, lana giving a slight shriek.

Soren frowns and sighs, "Well... thats comforting. This great fairy certainly doesn't want any visitors..."

Link frowns, not needing to move since he is far back enough from the roots, 'Whats wrong Mija? Are you okay?'

Ike and Impa also move back, Impa frowning before walking closer watching the dangerously close roots carefully, " Great guardian of this land, we desire to aid you. If you would allow us in, we will endeavor to fix whatever has upset you. We have the great Hero of time with us as well, also here to aid you."

[MissyLooni]

A gust of wind bursts towards the group in an attempt to push them back.

Soren tsks and keeps his distance, "Does she not believe us?"

Lana huffs, "Alright if playing nice isn't working then I have no qualms with kicking her-" she stops mid sentence when link runs past her.

Link gets as close to the barrier as he can, avoiding the roots that shoot up to stop him, "MIJA! WHY DO TREES HAVE SO MANY FRIENDS!?"

The roots freeze in their place for a brief moment before they wilt to the ground, a soft voice echoing through the barrier, "They.... they branch out..."

Soren and Lana both become stunned at the horrible pun they just heard.

Ike cringes, " she seriously wanted a pun?"

Impa shrugs, " whatever pleases her i suppose." she looks at the barrier, " will you permit us through honorable fairy?"

[MissyLooni]

Link sighs, "She didn't want a pun. She wanted proof that I'm here." He places a hand on the barrier, watching it ripple before finally it 'pops'. Link steps forward in to the path, watching as the leaves and animals begin moving freely.

Lana follows after Link, "Its incredible! She had this whole area frozen in time! I wonder how long this area was under the affects for? I'm sure a lot of magic had to be used! And with no rupees to continue to power her."

Impa sighs, " lets admire it later, after we go see her?" she heads further towards the shrine, " great fairy, we apologize for our intrusion, and the difficulty in identifying our dear hero." she looks wryly at Link.

[MissyLooni]

The voice becomes a tad louder as they get close to the shrine, "Save your apologies. They are unnecessary. Knowing her child is alive is all that matters to me."

Link goes up to the closed up and wilted shrine and frowns, looking back at Impa who has the money.

Impa nods, " fair enough." she pulls a hefty bag of rupees from her belt and holds them out " please, accept this offering and use your power to protect this land."

Miju's hand hesitantly sticks out of the flower and she gently takes the bag from Impa and pulls back in to the flower, "aaahhh... it's been so long...." The flower pulses before it bursts open, Miju appearing from the pond within the flower and she stretches before leaning down, "Link..." Her eyes water and she smiles, "I was so afraid.... when you stopped coming by.... that he...."

Link sighs and smiles sadly, "I'm sorry...."

Lana crosses her arms and looks around, "anyone else feel like we're interrupting a private moment or is that just me?"

Ike chuckles, " yeah... but we kinda gotta stay close you know?"

Impa bows, " he fled his father to come to the main city, and he was raised by a honorable man who took him in. We're presently on a mission to get him the master sword."

[MissyLooni]

Miju sighs, "I see... so you really are the Hero." She smiles warmly at him, "Your mother always knew you would be. Im glad to know she was right. And I'm glad to see you've been taking care of yourself."

She looks up at Impa, "I can open the way to the sacred grounds for you but I must warn you, the sword has become a bit wayward since last week. I'm not sure what has caused it but it does seem upset."

Lana hums softly, "Well.... last week.... we had a bit of an unusual accident during a mission and Link became injured. Considering the bond between the Hero and the Sword it may be reacting to that."
