Ike shrugs, " besides more chow and a new cape, not really. i more or less came along to keep an eye on you. what part of 'it's not a good idea to be alone after a battle' didn;t you get?" he grins, teasing the other.

Link blinks and frowns, his shoulders hunching a little, "im always alone. This is nothing new for me."

[Namari]

Ike shakes his head, " well for the time being, you're not alone. get used to it. now, that little wrap was tasty, but not nearly enough food. sniff me out something good eh?"

Link blinks and smiles, "i know a merchant that sells amazing boar skewers if you are interested in tender, juicy meat?"

[Namari]

Ike nods, " sounds good to me. lead the way." he takes a last glance at the cape he'd been looking at, " i may have to come back for that. but food first." he laughs and hurries along.

Link smiles at ike, his nose scrunching up from the grin that reaches his ears. He takes Ike's hand and leads him through the crowds.

Ike lets the other lead him by the hand, grinning. The little guy was pretty cute, even if the pointy ears were a bit odd. Once they reach the stall he pulls out the token, getting them each a skewer. He bites into it eagerly, enjoying the flavor.

Link happily accepts the skewer and bites into a thick piece of meat, the merchant laughing loudly and talks to link, receiving a nod or the shake of his head in reply to any questions.

Ike watches, munching his skewer quietly. ' well he might not say much but hes certainly got a method to communicate. just gotta know the right questions to ask for him to be able to answer.' he buys another skewer and starts on it, not really hungry but liking the taste and knowing the protein will be good for healing.

Link finishes his skewer and tilts his head to the side, pointing to the smoker behind rhe merchant.
The merchant blinks and laughs, "you can taste the change in flavor huh? Yeah im growing some rushrooms and decided the extra i had i could add to the boar! Nice right?"
Link nods excitedly making some hand gestures.
The merchant shakes his head, "no no i didnt go into the northern hyrule field. Wouldnt find anything there anymore anyway. This was quite a while ago. Ah! But once this whole war business is over with and that part of the field is safe again i plan on seeing if i can bring the plant life back, starting with my mushrooms."
Link smiles and points to himself, tilting his head again.
The merchant laughs, "you wanna help?!"
Link nods
"Alright, alright if you have time i would greatly appreciate it! I'll let you go though okay? You finally have someone hanging around you so go enjoy your day with him!"
Link nods and waves goodbye before turning to Ike

Ike listens, smiling when the merchant mentions him, " don;t let me cut into your time with him. im gonna be hanging around for awhile for this fight after all. "

The merchant gives a loud laugh, "Yes and I'm sure I'll see the hero 6 more times before the week ends! He can never stay away from my skewers! He is actually the reason why I'm having such a sudden boost in sales."

Link blushes and nervously laughs, rubbing the back of his head

Ike chuckles, " fair enough. well i think you'll be seeing me back here as well, you may give him the credit but good food speaks for itself." He finishes his skewer and glances at Link, " so, where to now then?"

Link takes ike's hand and quickly leads him further in to the market

Ike blinks and quickly walks to keep up with the hero, " settle down! where's the fire?" he laughs softly, not really minding getting tugged along. He tries to look at stalls as they go by, curious and wanting to see everything. He sees a few of the different species as they go, blinking at the strange creatures.
