Ike heads into the room shortly after, having been waiting for her to be done, " hey there Link, hows it going? still having a good time with the chicken hm?" he reaches over to pat the chicken plushes head.

Aria hands said plush back over to link, placing it in his lap, "kid does nothing but stare at it."

Link places his hands on the chicken, sighing softly.

Aria looks at ike, "he actually made a sound today when i had to move the toy in order for it to not get wet. It wasnt much but he does seem to be really attached to it. Makes me wonder how he'd react to a baby cuckoo."

Ike nods, " yeah he loves the thing." he blinks and smacks his forehead, " he'd probably love it, im a dumbass. i'll be back." he gets up and rushes out, heading to the market to buy one of the little chicks and a little feed. He places it into a basket with a cover and carries it back, " hey Link, i got a baby chicken, and some seeds to give to it." he opens the basket to reveal the cheeping baby.

Aria blinks and giggles, "Oh gosh its so cute."

Link's eyes dart over to the basket and he makes a soft, grunt.

Ike grins, " yeah bud!" he takes Links hand and turns the palm up, putting a little bit of the seed into his hand before carefully placing the chick there as well, keeping his hand under Links to support it.

Link watches the chick peck at the feed in his hand and his lips twitch in to a small grin

Ike smiles, " that's a good thing to see, you smiling. Thanks Aria, that was a really good idea." he puts a little more feed into Links hand, letting the little chick eat to it's hearts content.

Aria smiles, "You're the one who apparently owns a chick now."

Soren looks at Lana, "If I were to go I'd... have to dress like a girl!?"

Lana nods, "The gerudo people are female only and they only allow females in to their village. We could really use all the help we can get and your body is feminine enough to pull it off. "

Soren sighs, "Fine. If it's for Link. What do I have to wear?"

Lana blushes, "ah... remember that outfit link wore when you guys first rescued him?"

Soren groans, "THAT outfit!?"

Lana nods, "That is the female outfit. Otherwise known as Vai outfit. Vai means girl in gerudo. Voe means boy."

Soren shakes his head, "At least it's a mission that Ike wont be a part of. I dont need the constant teasing."

Lana nods and smiles, "Good! I'll go get the outfits ready then!" She happily leaves the room

Ike shrugs, " eh, well i can always give it to Aiden, or take it to one of the farms and give it to a farmer. something. if it keeps Link happy i'll raise the chick for now."

Soren gets up and goes to links room, knowing ike will be there. He knocks gently before stepping inside, "Ah good. You are here." He goes over to them and blinks, "Is that a cuckoo? Aw links smiling... thats awesome."

Ike looks over and grins, " yeah, Aria had the great idea of it since he likes his chicken plush so much. so i went and got one. If it makes him happy we can keep the thing for awhile."

Soren nods, "Definitely. I miss his smile. Anyway, they plan on having that trip to the desert soon. I just got done talking to Lana since she asked me to come with."

Ike grins, " oh good. Aiden talked about that, the sooner we can go get that banana thing the better. It'll be great if it helps Link...well, get better?" he frowns, " Wait, Lana asked you to go with? nobody asked me to go with."

Soren blushes and rubs the back of his head, "Apparently the gerudo village is ah... female only. They wont be bringing any... obvious men with..."

Aria looks at Soren and raises an eyebrow, "You.... know you will have to dress up like a gerudo girl right?"

Soren turns bright red and clears his throat, "Y-yeah... she told me..."

Ike frowns, " I could pass im sure..." he grumbles, " i should be going with to help..."
