Aiden looks at ike and frowns, "i think its best if we wait till tomorrow."

Caleb glancing at the other men nervously, not used to people who arent already their small group.

Zelda takes a seat and frowns, "i'm sure you feel awfully wound up and irritated if thats true... i do apologize for that. I understand how those looks can make one feel alienated."

Ike shakes his head, " and as your general, I disagree. Four against four. We will be fighting as pairs though. Aiden, you will pair with Jadon, Caleb, you with Teren. Your partner comes before the rest of the team. I'll pair with Sid here. Let's go." He grabs a practice sword and gets ready, and the other men do as well.

Ghirahim looks down at the table, nodding, " yes...even Volga got welcomed with open arms! That sheikah is all over him. They treat him like he's one of them. And I just...am here. An enemy in a gilded cage."

Zelda blinks before blushing, "the... you mean sheik? He... oh my... i had not expected that... it is a tad unfair how volga is able to shed his armour and look like a completely different person. I'm sure its that reason as to why the guards are not making faces at him." She clears her throat and looks at ghirahim, "im sure most of them are still upset for what you did to their hero. Even i am doing my best to understand link's choice, however that does not mean i want you to leave. As cruel as it is for me to ask this of you i would rather you stayed. At least until we are able to hear from link himself. If you still feel like a prisoner afterwards and wish to leave i will allow it. "

Caleb takes a step back and begins to put his bow and arrows away to grab a sword.

Aiden turns pale and goes over to caleb, talking quietly, "hey, maybe uh- maybe you should stay back and use your bow? Just for this."

Caleb huffs and glares at aiden, "i'm using my sword." He grabs his wooden sword, pushing past aiden.

[Namari]

Ghirahim nods, practically spitting the words, "yeah, him. He's been blushing and practically tripping over himself, spending each meal with Volga. It's pitiful how obvious he's being, though I doubt Volga realized it."

He sighs and stands up, " fine. I will wait awhile longer."



Ike takes his group aside, " I'll focus on Caleb and Teren, there's a point to this, and Im going to have to be somewhat cruel, but it will benefit them in the long run so please trust me, and keep Aiden off of me." Ike wait until everyone is ready, then begins the attack, pressing forward close to Caleb to attack. The others attack Aiden and the other two men, trying to keep them divided and from their partners.

Zelda stands up with ghirahim, smiling, "thank you. Now, may i walk you to your room? I'm not used to having no one around me."

Caleb yelps when he notices how quick ike is acting. He keeps his sword  at the ready to block any hits.

Aiden's eyes narrow and he focuses on pushing the other fighters back so he can try to get to his brother

Ghirahim blinks, " uh, sure? I guess so... I suppose if you wanted I could stay until your boy toy comes back."


Ike glances over at Aiden, " Aiden! Your partner is being overwhelmed, what are you doing?!" He switched his attention back to Caleb, using his eyesight against him, making it look like he is striking one spot and striking another.

Zelda shakes her head, "he... still doesn't trust volga. Id rather you two not cross paths." She heads to the door and waits for ghirahim.

Aiden flinches at ike's observation and he curses slightly before going back to his partner, fighting back easily.

Caleb is quickly overwhelmed and he starts to panic.

Ghirahim sighs, " right, if he doesn't trust perfect dragon man, he definitely won't like me near you." He follows her, heading down the hall to his room.

Ike strikes Caleb down, aiming his blade at Caleb's neck.

Zelda lets ghirahim lead since she doesnt exactly know which rooms are which.

Caleb hits the ground and he freezes, keeping his eyes shit tightly

Ghirahim stops at his room, " well, this is my room... Um, did you need something?"

Ike lifts a hand, " enough! This battle is decided. Caleb, as a swordsman you are a liability to your allies. You put your brother in danger who tries to compensate for you at any cost, and everyone around you." His voice and eyes were cold, the words cutting.

Zelda shakes her head, "no. But i do hope to have a chance to see you again soon. And if you need to, seek me out and i will spend some time with you as well." Zelda looks down and brings her hands together, "it was not that long ago where i received the same looks from my own people so i understand how it feels. Now, before i head back, is there anything i can do for you?"

Both brother's eyes widen as they stare at ike.

Caleb is the first to look away as he pushes himself up, throwing his sword to the ground, "fine. I get it." He turns around and begins to head back to the barracks.

Aiden shudders as he watches his brother leave, "he-hey caleb! Caleb come back!"

[Namari]

Ghirahim blinks, then snorts, " somehow I doubt people ever looked at you as they look at me. Terror and digust." He sighs, " no, I don't need anything. Thank you anyway."


Ike stands tall, almost roaring, " I DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO LEAVE CADET!"

Zelda shrugs, "you can ask impa if you wish but, yes. Terror and disgust is pretty close. Let me know if you do need anything." Zelda heads back to her room.

Caleb pauses slightly before he frowns and huffs, "you dont need to call me that anymore. I'm quitting. You said it yourself. I'm a liability."

Aiden pales and he nervously looks between ike and caleb.

Ghirahim blinks and frowns, confused, " alright..." He goes into his room and closes the door behind him.


Ike huffs, " I said as a swordsman. You have an uncommon eye condition which makes you unsuited for close combat, and even a danger to yourself and others. However I've seen this before, and men with it make unmatched archers, something you appear to also have a knack for if those targets are anything to judge by." He waved at the targets Caleb had been shooting at previously. " Instead of trying to force yourself to fit someplace you will fail, you should go where you obviously already excell, and where you will be a valuable asset."

Zelda waits until the door closes before she leans against the wall, exhausted from just the walk, 'if only sothe was around...' she rubs her face before pushing herself off the wall and starts heading back to her room.

Caleb turns and looks at Ike as he takes in his words. He glances at his targets and huffs, "Anyone can hit a target when it doesnt move..."
