May glances behind her and looks at impa, "a-ah he- he is out back behind the house! Chopping wood! Is- is there anything i can get for you?"

[Namari]

Impa nods, " no, im alright. thank you for your help." she makes a small bow and walks towards the back of the house.

[MissyLooni]

May leans against the door frame and places her hands on her chest after impa heads to the back

Link hums softly as he chops wood, the muscles he gained evident by how easily his axe slices through the wood

[Namari]

Impa slows when she gets around the corner and sees Link working. She stands and watches for a short while, noting the weight gain and the ease of movement. Before he notices her she steps closer, " Link, if we could talk please?"

[MissyLooni]

Link jumps a bit as he's startled, making a soft squeak sound. He turns around and he pales, he's about to open his mouth but he hesitates and instead closes his mouth and sets the axe down,  "impa. Hi. What brings you here? "

[Namari]

Impa frowns slightly as he signs at her, and sighs softly, " i suppose this is fair. anyway i came to visit you, see how you were doing, and...discuss a few things with you, if that's alright."

[MissyLooni]

Link nods, "thats fine. You did come all the way out here. "

[Namari]

Impa nods, " you look well, it's clear the time out here has been good for you. im glad...i was concerned you would not take proper care of yourself here." she sighs, obviously not comfortable with what she came there to say, " it seems... i need to apologize for a few things. not listening to you more, and therefore allowing you to be captured. as well as not trusting you more as to your own care it seems. i have failed you in many ways." she bows at the waist, showing her deference to him.

Link's eyes widen and he's taken aback by impa's apology and his eyes begin to water, a few tears slide down his cheek

[Namari]

Impa is in turn taken aback by the tears, taking a step back, " wh-what did i say to upset you?! if it was bringing it up just tell me so i know to avoid it next time?"

[MissyLooni]

Link sniffles and wipes his face with his sleeve,  "no it's.... it's not sad tears... I'm actually... really happy to hear you say that... it means so much to me..."

[Namari]

Impa blinks and rubs her neck, " ah, well im...glad. Lana has admitted our best interests are not what she has been striving for... speaking of which, after speaking with her, i have confined her to her quarters, she's lost my trust completely. She claims the goddesses may lash out at you if she is not permitted to try and twist things how they want it, and i wanted to ask your preference on the matter, since the risk seems to be for you mostly. allow her freedom to continue meddling, or confine her and risk the consequences?"

[MissyLooni]

Link rubs his arm and nervously looks at impa, "what else can the goddesses do to me that they havent done already? I mean... i dont want to hurt anymore but... it wouldnt be anything new..."

[Namari]

Impa nods, " that's what i figured. but still, i will let her loose if that's what you wish. i leave it up to you, and of course you do not need to give me an answer presently. i seem to find myself with more free time now than i know what to do with for awhile."

Link blinks and tilts his head, "free time? Thats unlike you."
