In no time Link makes it to the entrance which is blocked by large boulders.
He tsks softly, glancing behind him to make sure he is not in any danger before pulling out a bomb and lighting it. He places it against the rocks and sticks his fingers in his mouth and gives a loud whistle as a warning for the others before backing up himself.

Lana looks over and she makes sure she isnt too close.

Soren doesnt worry since he wasnt that close to the entrance to begin with

Everyone else makes sure to be well back, keeping all monsters at bay while they wait for the bomb to go off.

The bomb goes off, shaking the ground around them and link doesnt wait for the dust to clear before running in to the great fairy's shrine.

The enemies stay away from the shrine entrance, the amount of power radiating from it keeping them at bay.

Ike runs in with Link, staying near him.

Impa and Sheik take out more enemies, making sure the fairys location has a wide berth safe around it.

Link runs up to the enclosed flower.

A womans voice is heard and it echoes throughout the shrine, "oh...? And what have we here?"

Link holds out a large pouch full of rupees for her, filled to the brim.

A giant hand slinks out from the flower and she takes it, "Oh my. You need that much help it seems? I suppose for a little bit more i could be persuaded~"

Links face drops as he frowns, rolling his eyes and looking rather annoyed. He pulls out another pouch, 'thank you zelda for giving me two of these.'
He holds them out to her.

She quickly takes them and giggles, "What an avid spender you are~ Alright I'll come out to play~"
The hand goes back in to the flower and the flower begins to pulse before it bursts open, the great fairy laughing as she stretches, "Oh dear it has been SO long since someone has made an offering to me~"

Ike raises an eyebrow as he looks at the giant flower thing, and takes a step back when a hand comes out, " cripes..." he holds his sword out when the flower bursts open, " look lady, i can see you like stalling and all, but our comrades are kind of fighting for their lives out there, so if you could pick up the pace a bit i'd appreciate it."

Links eyes widen and he shoots a glare over at ike.

The lady looks at ike, amused as she brings her hand up to her mouth, leaning on her flower to take a better look at ike, "ooohhh dear. Its a little man from another world~ you dont see that everyday~ what? They dont teach you manners where your from?"

Link goes up to her, "I apologize for his rudeness however he is correct that our friends are fighting out there. We had come in hopes that you would help us defend this area."

Ike grunts, " they teach plenty of manner where i come from, there's just a time and a place for leisurely chatter and a battlefield isn't it. If i could leave Link alone to deal with you i'd go join them, but my job is to keep him safe, regardless of my own desire to ensure my people are holding up. So if you could help us now, we can chat later all you want, i swear on my honor."

Some larger enemies push closer, as Ganon puts forth at least a show of attempting to keep the area. Sothe grunts as he slices one apart, " what's taking so long?"

She sighs, "help you huh? Fine. Only because that is my obligation from the offering."
She yawns and stretches again.

Link shudders as he feels a ripple of magic breeze past him, "thank you, cotera."

She blinks in mid-stretch and immediately lowers herself to look at link, "you know my name!"

Link smiles, "of course. Proxi has told me so much about you.  She was right too. Words do not do your beauty justice."

Cortera blushes and smiles, eagerly using her power seriously, "ahh you're only saying that because you have to~"

Link gives a soft chuckle, "wouldnt dream of it. I was actually wondering if you had seen proxi. Or... any fairies?"

Cortera frowns, "those goons have been hunting down the fairies, killing them in hopes to put an end to your survival. I have some with me, and so do my other sisters. We are keeping them safe. As for this proxi... i have not seen her. I can ask my girls though and let you know."

Link nods, "thank you for that information. I just.... hope she is safe...."

Lana and soren both stop fighting when they feel a cooling sensation pass over them. The dry, desert like ground suddenly springs forth with life and the bokoblins, moblins, and other enemies all give a cry of pain before dying.

Sothe makes sure all the enemies are perishing before getting closer to the great fairies area, " Things are clearing up out here!"

Ike hears Sothe and gives a sighs of relief, lowering himself to the ground and putting a hand over his side, " im going to have to talk to Lana about getting some healing like the others if we're going to keep doing crap like this, i pulled a few stitches..." He pulls his hand away and looks at the blood on it, soaked through his shirt and the dressings under it. " not as bad as it could be though."

Link looks at ike and frowns. He looks over at Cortera and sighs. He leans up to her and starts talking to her quietly.

Cortera glances at ike and sighs, "oh fine. But only because he is nice to you." She holds her hand out to link as a small pink fairy appears, "it will return to me as soon as its done."

Link nods and gently takes the fairy before going over to ike, "here. You've never seen one before, right?"

Ike blinks as the two seem to scheme and raises an eyebrow at the large womans comment. He holds his hand out to the fairy, " no, i haven't." he peers at it closely, " weird..."

The fairy floats on to ike's hand and it flutters there for a brief second before circling around ike quickly as it heals him, flying back to Cortera as soon as its done.

Ike jolts as suddenly the fairy zips around him, " what the?!" he swats at it a bit, thankfully missing. He gets up and seems like he's going on the offense before he realizes his side doesn;t hurt, " oh, it did that healing thingy? i thought it only did that for people who died or are dying? you shouldn;t have wasted it on me."

Link smiles and chuckles at ike, "something as simple as your wound is nothing for a fairy. And its not a waste. You... you should have mentioned to lana that your side was still injured before we left. She would have fixed that for you."

Lana keeps herself busy by harvesting important ingredients, "they sure are taking their sweet time in there..."
