Ike whistles as they head back, going a bit faster than normal as the sky darkens, trying to beat the storm without pushing the horses too hard.

Link tightens his grip on his reins and sighs, trying his best to ignore the voices in his head.

Just as they reach the stables it starts to drizzle, and Ike pulls his cloak up to cover Link as they hurry inside, " whew, guess we won't be training outside. i should probably talk to the princess, see what she came up with regardling mr demon lord."

He blushes slightly when he's close to ike before nodding, "i'll... i'll do something to waste the time." He keeps his head low as he slips past ike, heading down the halls

Ike blinks and watches Link go, " huh... okay then." he sighs and goes to the princess's study, knocking.

zelda looks up from her papers before pushing them aside, "Come in."

Ike steps in and bows, " sorry to intrude princess. i was wondering if you'd made any headway on the energy situation with the demon lord? also, i'd like to request a small cart for the next time i head out to train with the twilight hero, either tonight if it's not raining or in the morning."

Zelda blinks and sighs, "i... i have been bouncing ideas around in my head but it is not easy in the slightest. If i knew for sure or not what my energy would do i would give him some of mine after a prayer in my spring but i am unsure if goddess energy would hurt or help him. I also thought... the people of hyrule enjoy praying to the goddess so i hesitate to think maybe creating a few shrines in her honor and then placing a seal on them. So when people prayed it would take a small bit of their energy." She twiddles her fingers a bit, "its deceitful and i fear i might be faced with some angry goddesses but to be honest what they've done to us has caused me to feel disdain towards them. Dont let the councilman know. I'll never hear the end of it. Less they try to bring back that bastard to marry me off to...." she shakes her head and looks at ike, "at any rate i havent come up with anything full proof. Now, that wagon. There are plenty in the storage rooms now that ghirahim has been in charge of shipments with his teleportation abilities so we have no need of them for now. You should still have that medallion with my crest on it. Present that to the storage man and he'll get you set up. The location is groundlevel, east side, close to the training grounds. Cant miss it."

Ike sighs, " well that's unfortunate. i discussed the possibility of getting energy from other than human sources with the twilight hero, but apparently the animals wants some things we can;t really promise. such as leaving their forests and wild areas alone, and never fishing so the bears get all the fish." he snorts, " though perhaps we could convince some cattle or such for extra feed." he rubs the back of his neck, " well thank you anyway. i will speak to the men in the barracks and see if any of them are willing to get the seal. i dunno if any of the staff here might consider it as well?"

"I can ask aria. Not for her, herself since she is too valuable to risk low energy. But she could ask the other girls. See if there's anything we can offer in exchange."

[Namari]

Ike nods, " i'd offer my own energy, but i can;t risk being low energy on the battlefield. i've mastered most of the heros moves, and while i need to practice integrating them smoothly with the other techniques i know, even the twilight hero said i ought to be able to deal with anyone but Ganon himself..."

[MissyLooni]

Zelda nods, "well that is a bit of a relief to hear. And yes, i wouldnt want you giving him energy that cant already be spared. Again, i think temporary shrines might have to be the idea i go with. I can always remove the seals and keep the shrines for the people after this is all done anyway."

Ike nods, " that's a good idea. if you need me i'll be training indoors since it's raining, can;t afford to get sick at this time." he grins, " until next time princess, keep my companion safe." he winks and heads out, whistling softly. he heads to where the carts are stored and shows off the seal, arranging for a small cart to be at the stables for him to hitch up to his horse. He then finds a large room in the castle that he can train in and starts trying to blend the heros moves with his own, the transitions choppy and obvious as first but slowly getting smoother until the enemy wouldn;t know he was changing styles until it was too late.

Zelda turns bright red and she huffs, "why does he always have to make such a comment."

Link had gone to the bar, being able to avoid the rain pretty well.

Caleb looks outside and pouts, "ahh its raining."

Ghirahim sighs, " yes, yes it is. was there something you wanted to do outside?"
