Ike mounts up and clicks his tongue to the gelding, " lets go!" he gently urges the horse into a canter, heading for Oridon.

Link nods and follows ike, "i'm glad its nice out today..."

Ike nods, " yeah, was starting to feel a bit cooped up with the bad weather."

Link enjoys himself, looking out at the field and noting how fresh everything looks after the overdue rainfall.

Ike glances over, " so where did you run off to yesterday? i didn't see you all day."

Link shrugs, "no where important, dont worry about it." He smiles at ike, hoping to finishes the conversation quickly

Ike blinks in confusion and frowns, " alright...." he doesn't press the subject, and an awkward silence falls.

Link nervously picks at his nails before clearing his throat,  "so, uh,  what did you do yesterday? "

Ike shrugs, " trained some, spent time with Aiden. day was too wet to do much outside."

[MissyLooni]

Link blinks and looks at ike, "You didnt train outside did you? I dont want you to get sick."

[Namari]

Ike shakes his head, " Not much, it's good to work in less than ideal conditions, but im not stupid. Made sure i still knew how to keep my footing in the mud, then dried off and worked inside. im not going to risk myself."

Link looks a bit relieved before sighing, "Thats good. I'm not sure if i'd be any good at taking care of you if you get sick."

Ike chuckles, " considering the castle has a medical staff i think i'd manage. Sothe isn't really the doting type but if it came down to it he'd bring me food now and then and shove it at me until i ate it. or at the very least tell me im being a pussy and to stop whining."

Link nods, "i can see that. When we're done training with the other hero i wouldnt mind checking on volga. We need him right? Be good to know how he's feeling."

[Namari]

Ike nods, " he'd certainly be a huge help. we can do that, sure. Hopefully he's doing better, i know the princess has been trying to find ways to get the demon lord more energy to give to him."
