Ike sees him conscious and relief hits him, if he was awake hopefully it wouldn;t take too much longer before he was ready to fight. He raps on the edge of the door to alert them that he's there without getting too close and invading their conversation.

Both Volga and Aria look over at Ike and smile.

Volga ends his conversation with Aria politely before turning back to Ike, "Ah, Ike. So good to see you again. My apologies for being out for so long. I hope I have not been a burden to anyone."

Aria nods and Ike and goes back to changing the IV bag connected to volga

Ike rubs the back of his neck, " im not one much for medical stuff so i can't really answer that. a lot has happened though, and im glad to see you on the mend. you... you just focus on getting your strength back."

Volga nods, "of course. I am doing everything i can to get better. It is to my understanding that i will be needed in an upcoming battle."

Ike nods, " yeah, we need to run an attack against Ganons castle again... and even though their numbers are less, i don;t want to take any chances, not when they have hostages they can use against us."

Volga looks down at his lap and frowns, "I know.... I failed to keep my allies safe...I am so sorry..."

Ike shakes his head, " not your fault. all of us failed, so don't take the blame yourself. im the one overseeing things, if anything as commander the blame lies with me. regardless, if you are willing, once you feel able you'll be a huge help in getting them back. And after im sure, you did a lot for Sheik and i have no doubt he'll need you again."

volga looks at Ike, nodding, "Absolutely. I will make a clean path straight to Ganon even if it kills me."

Aria tsks and gently taps volga on the forehead, "Enough of that now. You are not dying. Not on my watch."

Ike chuckles, " yeah no dying please, like i said, he's gonna need you after the fact. you were good for him last time, and i have a feeling he's going to need even more. getting him back is only half the battle, making sure he doesn't break mentally...that'll be just as difficult."

Volga grimaces and nods, "I am unfortunately aware. I feel like your friend will also need help in that department..."

" oh there's little doubt about that. but Soren is for me and Sothe to tend to, we know him best and he's from our world. Sheik...you're the closest thing he has to a connection from his own world, or timeline, or whatever you want to call it. Maybe Link would work, but the whole serving the hero thing might complicate that for him mentally..."

volga shakes his head, "The hero in his current state would be no help. I doubt I am the best for the sheikah either but I will give support where needed."

Ike shrugs, " well you're the best choice i can think of. he didn;t really let any of us get close to him, and we don't know shit about him. so yeah... unless you can think of someone else that would be better, you're at the top of the list actually having known him and being from the same world."

Volga looks down, "Back then... I knew of sheik because of the Hero of Time. I will do my best to help him and solidify the bond we have for his sake."

Ike shrugs, " that's more than any of the rest of us have. take care of yourself too, but yeah he's gonna need someone. anyway, is there anything you need? anything i can do to help you recover faster?"
