Soren goes up to ike and roughly gives him a noogie on the head, "Moron! I figured you were enough of a grown up to not just toss me in water!"

Ike laughs and ducks away, " you've just been such a sourpuss lately! i wanted you to let loose and have fun for once."

[MissyLooni]

Soren sticks his tongue out and blows a raspberry at ike. he double checks his belongings and sighs in relief when nothing is amazingly damaged. The robes he bought when they first arrived had a special waterproof lining that he was interested in and thankfully it paid for itself, "Everything looks okay. thank the gods."

Ike nods, " good. now take your dumb robe off and get in the water!" he starts tugging the others robe off.

Soren shrieks loudly again before quickly yanking himself away from Ike, "Knock it off!! Why cant you just think about how im feeling!"

Link frowns and gets out of the water, "Ike, if soren doesnt want to take his robes off he doesnt have to."

Ike lets go and sighs, " i do, often. i just... like i said, i hoped it'd make you feel better." he sits down on the gravel.

Soren pauses and watches ike for a minute before sighing, "i... appreciate your... wish to make me feel better. I do. I just... since I woke up i havent really removed this robe that i woke up in. i know..." his hands subconsciously rest on his abdomen, "i know even with the shortened incubation time I wont be showing but the thought that i will eventually has made me.. terrified of removing my robe and looking down at my stomach. I dont want to see anything there...So... yeah. thats why i dont want to remove my robe."

Link frowns and gets out of the water to go over to them, sitting down, "even to bed?"

Soren sighs, "I know.... it is unsanitary..."

Ike lets out a long breath, " that... wow. well you definitely need to change your clothes at some point, but i get that you're upset about it..."

soren's face turns slightly red, the feeling of shame washing over him.

link hums softly, "how about....what if I turn around so I cant look and you close your eyes and ike can just check your stomach for you. That way he can confirm that you're fine and you dont have to check yourself." if it was the anticipation of looking, and not being flat that was causing Soren such distress then if someone he trusted checked for him and told him he was flat that might calm his fears

Ike blinks, " that might work, do you want me to do that?"

Soren looks at ike, "I mean... I'd rather no one look at me but if anyone has to I'd rather it be you."

Link nods and turns around so he isn't looking at either of them.

Ike nods, " close your eyes then." he waits and then opens the others robe to check his stomach.

Soren quickly looks away and closes his eyes tightly. He feels ike open his robe and he can't help but tense up.

Ike takes a look, looking from several angles, " looks the same as ever to me dude. you're still scrawny, you actually look a bit scrawnier than normal, we need to get you to eat more."

[MissyLooni]

Soren heard that and quickly looks at ike before looking down at his stomach,  sighing in relief,  "oh thank the gods."
He hesitantly takes the rest of his robe off and sighs again, "thank you ike..."
