Ike gets his footing and watches Link warily, panting. After he catches his breath a bit he stands up, " so uh...how about we call it a draw today?"

Link nods, still in his same position as he keeps breathing.

the recruits start hooting and cheering.

Ike lifts his sword in response to the hooting and cheering before sheathing it, " alright, shows over kids. Okay, lets get showered off before i knock anyone out with my stench."

Link straightens up and puts his sword away, laughing. He pats Ike on the shoulder before he starts heading to the showers

Ike chuckles and follows after. Once in the showers he strips away his sodden clothes, " so, not going to be putting these on. probably ought to rinse them here to avoid staining."

Link walks over to the linen area and grabs a couple of towels before heading back over to the showers. He sets them down safely on the benches close to him and ike before he begins stripping, being extra careful when removing his scarf.

Ike grabs a towel as well and leaves it on a bench, heading into the showers with his clothes in his arms. He rinses them off before hanging them up and washing himself off.

Link gets all of his clothes off and washes them before hanging them to dry as well. He sighs as he washes himself. Feeling much better, 'maybe a soak in the bath would be good...' he glances at the giant bath and bites his lip, 'yeah. definitely gonna soak for a bit.'

Ike cleans himself off well before heading to the big tub and climbing in, groaning in relief as the warm water starts to soothe his muscles, " damn that was quite the workout...good fight though, i'll be honestly i really didn't think you'd be able to match me like that. no offense, i've just been fighting longer than you."

Link smiles and gets in the bath after ike does, "When we fought before I wasn't exactly feeling okay, but... there have been times where I feel like my body kinda just wants to make its own decisions, so i let go. Kinda like an auto-pilot I guess. It mostly happens on the field though, never really during practice." Link sighs softly, "Sometimes the Princess jokes about it. That the past heroes are trying to help me or whatever..."

Ike nods, " fair enough. did it happen this time during practice? just curious. and honestly i have no idea about channeling any previous reincarnations or anything like that."

[MissyLooni]

"I honestly have no idea if I am being helped. Kinda all speculation and guesses but yeah I did kinda let go near the end there. I was getting pretty exhausted." Link gives a nervous chuckle and rubs the back of his head, "If i hadn't you probably would have got me just before i did the back slice."

Ike nods, " i hear ya there, i was running on fumes myself." he snorts, " cheater. ah well, just makes me want to get better. i've been sorely out of practice these last few years, so i've still got some rust to remove from my fighting."

Link shrugs, "Happens anytime I feel like I could be in danger. its why most time i dont do so hot when training but why the battlefield feels so good."

Ike nods thoughtfully, " interesting... well you did great training there with me, not to blow my own horn but im no pushover, even with my skills a little out of use."
