Link stiffens a little and he quickly sticks his sword in the ground before going over to ike, "hey, hey hey hey." his tone is soft but firm, "My apologies. my comment about you not being a liar was a compliment about how you have been giving me a beautiful apology in your room and how I would love to keep getting said apologies in your room. everyday. it was a perverted joke that failed, miserably it seems. You're fine."

Ike blinks and chuckles a bit, " guess im just not so good at getting subtle jokes." he sheathes his blade and wraps an arm around Link, " sorry about that."

Link wraps his arms around ike, hugging the man tightly, "no need to apologize. you are absolutely fine. I may or may not be just terrible at jokes and thats no one's fault."

Ike chuckles, " well how about we just leave it at a miscommunication on both ends and call it good." He places a kiss onto Links forehead.

Link nods and smiles, "miscommunication sounds fair to me. Now, " Link let's go of ike and goes back to his sword, grabbing it and looking at ike, "since we're bad at words why don't we let our swords do the talking?"

Ike chuckles and steps back, pulling his blade back out, " sounds like a plan to me."

Link smiles and charges at ike, swinging his blade at the taller man's left

Ike meets the blade and knocks it away from his side, stepping back as he watches Link.

Link continues sparring with ike,  not stopping even as he starts to get tired

Ike also keeps fighting, even as his shirt starts to stick to his body with sweat.

One of link's attacks misses fantastically and he quickly hops back a little from ike, "alright, alright,  I think I gotta concede. Seeing you like that is a huge distraction for me. "

Ike blinks, panting a little, and sheathes his blade. He pushes sweaty hair from his face, " oh?" he glances down at himself, then chuckles, " oh. sorry. can't help it, it's been a good workout."

Link looks away, his ears visibly red as he tries to not imagine ike with his clothes off, "Oh im sure. clearly. may-maybe you should take a shower or something. O-or I can." his face gets even more red as he begins to panic slightly from his thoughts getting more and more perverse

Ike snorts and goes over, putting an arm around Links shoulders, " come on, lets get off the training grounds before your ears start expelling steam. A shower would be nice, and im sure you could use some cleanup as well."

Link looks at Ike and nods, "yeah i uh i need a shower too." links clears his throat a little before sheathing his sword and cautiously heading inside in hopes his boner isnt noticeable
