"when we lost the north field it was because of cia's attack. That weird... bomb thing she did. The only reason we managed to survive was because we were close enough to lana for her barrier. After that... at the mission... as you remember it was lana and myself along with a small few of men."
Link frowns and sighs, flexing his hands a little as he thinks about how many people they lost to cia's attack, "you and zelda and... most of our men were much farther away... i saw cia preparing that attack again. No one else seem to notice. And when i saw how far apart we were and how we didnt have any time to regroup..."
link shakes his head, "i knew engaging her was stupid and that id lose. And to be honest at that time i didnt care. All i thought about was keeping her distracted. I knew if i fought her directly she couldnt use her attack. You guys would live.  Thats all that was on my mind. And id do it again. If i had to make that choice all over again, knowing what would happen to me id STILL do it all over again. I cant lose you guys. I need you to know that "
Link looks down.

Impa nods slowly, " thank you for that information Link." she shifts her gaze to Lana, " well, is that a satisfactory explanation for his actions to you? or will you continue to insist upon blaming him?"

Lana frowns and looks away, "I-... I didn't know Cia was about to use that attack....I'm sorry Link...."

Zelda covers her mouth with her hand as she looks at Link, "Link....."

Impa sits, " there, at least that's out there now. we can move on and actually be productive." she sighs, " alright, now lets plan our next move. i still think the idea of reclaiming the north field is a good one."

Lana reluctantly nods, "yeah i... I'm sorry i pushed on the whole master sword plan..."

Link nods and smiles, content with Lana's behavior, "Opening up the Great Fairy's domain and getting her to help us is going to be the most important thing. The only problem being that she is located pretty deep in the field so it wont be a simple in and out mission."

Impa nods, " well few things worth doing are easy. It'll be a difficult trek but we are strong, despite what our enemies may think. In the meantime, that new fellow called himself a general. Perhaps we can begin recruiting new men and train them with his aid. their fighting styles seem to be good, and while i realize he's injured, he can still oversee training and coach them."

Link nods excitedly, finally feeling like progress will be made,  "And when we do come up with a mapped out plan with the others i would actually like us to figure out a back up as well. If its just the normal enemies that we are used to then i have no problem taking them down, but you guys need to be prepared in case that weird freak with the tongue shows up. I-.... I cant trust myself to not freeze up if he happens to be there so a back up plan to deal with that is going to be important."

Zelda blinks before her eyes widen slightly, remember when Ghirahim grabbed her and then licked her neck, 'that must be the guy who hurt link. Good. I know who to kill now.'
Zelda quickly nods and smiles, "That will be no problem. Thank you for your honesty Link."

Impa nods in agreement, " good to note. i think the one guys plan of having teams was a good one, and we have an even number now if we include the princess on the missions. I think it's best if we stick in at least pairs, and with all due respect your highness, i don;t really think you should be out on the field, an extra person for Links team to help cover for him in the event of any difficulties."

Link nods in agreement, "now that we have that figured out i would prefer to wait on making actual plans until everyone is here. "

[Namari]

Impa chuckles, " sorry, getting ahead of myself somewhat i suppose. yes, we'll confer with the others as well later." she stands, " i presume we can conclude this meeting then?"

All three nod in unison.

Link looks at impa, "on a side note, how soon can i start training again. I would like to start as soon as possible."

Zelda blinks and frowns, "link, are you sure you don't want to rest a bit first? You have plenty of time to catch a breather before you need to pick up your sword again. "

Link shakes his head,  "i need to get better. Much better. The enemy doesnt care whether i rest or not, they wont wait and let me recover. If im not in the battle then i want to be training."

Zelda sighs and looks down, "yes you are right about that."

Impa shrugs, " i see no problem with him resuming training. He's not injured, at the very least it'll help keep him in fighting shape. There's plenty he still has to learn about technique."

[MissyLooni]

Zelda pouts, "I suppose..."

Link looks back at Impa and gives a wide, toothy grin, "So? So so so? When can I start up again? Now? How about now?"

Impa rolls her eye, " settle down boy. I know i said i see no harm in it, but that doesn;t mean get to it right now. i think it's a good idea for you to relax for today at least. maybe talk some more with the newcomers."

Link huffs and pouts, "then tell the guy thats in the hallway to come in here. He's been out there for a while."

Zelda blinks and frowns, "....What?"

Lana blink and looks over to the doorway, seeing no one, "What are you talking about?"
