Ike looks at Impa and nods, " we're in then."

Sothe shrugs noncommittally.

Impa nods, " very well. We need to decide what our teams will be. I think for certain Ike should be teamed with Link, as well as one other person. That being said, they should probably have one of our spell-casters with them to balance it out. My suggestion would be Soren over Lana, simply due to recent circumstances that may complicate Link and Lana working together well." she looks at the others, " any suggestions?"

Lana pouts slightly when she hears Impa mention soren instead of her but she says nothing, instead pulling out a map of hyrule field, "Luckily its not like the palace where we have to be so split up in order to activate switches. We're just lowering the enemies numbers enough to reclaim that area."

Link goes over to the map and points at a spot near the top of the paper, "There! Thats where the Great Fairy is! If we can get to her then our battle is essentially won."

Lana glances at the others, "Uh link says this is the location of the Great Fairy and that if we can just get to her then she can use her powers to help us." Lana shrugs, "At least we have an end goal. Get to the Great Fairy."

Impa nods, " indeed. Link, you will lead Ike and Soren directly towards the great fairy. make getting to her your priority. Ike, should anything happen to Link, you are then in charge and your priority is to grab Link and fall back. The other two teams, Myself and Sheik, and Lana and Sothe, will focus on taking out enemies and clearing the way to the great fairy."

Soren nods and smiles at ike,  "sounds like a plan. "

Link smiles, "i promise that I'll do my best! "

Zelda sighs,  "as soon as you guys get to the barrier I'll drop it."

Impa nods, " we'll leave shortly, i just need to arrange a guard for the princess. stay put, i won't be long." she heads out of the infirmary, going to the barracks and arranging a group of men and bringing them back, " alright, top priority is keeping the princess safe and out of trouble. Now that that is dealt with, we may go."

Lana opens her book, "okay, i can easily transport us just outside of the princess's barrier."
Her book glows and its only a short moment before a portal opens up in front of them

Impa nods, " good. stay with your team." she heads through, Sheik staying at her side. Ike and Sothe head through as well, Ike making sure to stay close to Link.

Soren and link and lana go through before the portal closes.

Lana carefully approaches the wall and shudders, "despite it being made by the princess it feels awfully menacing."

(I imagine it looks similar to the twilight walls except white instead of black. Like, invert the colors and bam. Light barrier.)

Impa looks up at it and nods, " well, it has to be rather powerful to keep our enemies at bay. now we wait for her to lower it, everyone be at the ready."

Ike pulls out his sword and swings it a few times.

Lana takes a step back as she watches the barrier fade and disappear. She gets her attack ready as the hoard of monsters take notice of the barrier and begin charging.

Link smirks and quickly pulls his sword and shield out, slashing the first bokoblin in half when it gets in range.

Ike takes out a few and starts pressing forward.

Impa and Sheik work together taking out enemy after enemy in rapid succession. Sothe covers Lanas back, keeping enemies away from her blind spots.

Lana and soren waste no time with casting spells.

Soren keeps a close eye on both link and ike.

Link easily takes down the enemies, making sure to keep close to ike.

Ike stays in the middle of the other two teams, constantly checking back on Link and Soren.


Impa and Sheik edge out in front of Links team, trying to clear the way to let them progress faster towards the fairy.

Lana creates a giant magic block and jumps on it, every step she takes crushes the enemies beneath her.

Link sees up ahead several large moblins and he shivers in excitement, finally feeling like he is back in his element. He grins and quickly takes out an obscene amount of bokoblins.

Sothe grumbles as he fights to keep up.

Ike raises an eyebrow as Link seems giddy about the fighting, not commenting however as he continues to guard the others back and press forward, the group rapidly making headway towards the fairy location.
