Link gives another, this time half hearted, shrug and quickly finishes up his fruit and veggies.

Ike soon polishes off his plate, " well you're a joy to eat with. guess we'll talk later, im going to torment the recruits some more." he takes his plate to the drop off where they'll be cleaned before heading back out to the training grounds.

Link huffs and wipes his face angrily before putting his stuff away and storming off in the opposite direction.

Ike goes and starts working with the other recruits, sans any life threatening incidents this time and thoroughly whooping butt.

Sothe is headed towards the mess hall when he sees Link storm by, " what's your deal?"

Link pauses briefly and looks down. He does his best to smile and shake his head, trying to convey that nothing is wrong

Sothe crosses his arms and gives the other a disbelieving look, " okay, i may not be the most compassionate guy around, but you may be saying you're fine but your body language tells me that's bullshit."

Link gives a nervous chuckle and rubs his arm. He hesitantly points to sothe's hand.

(Sothe doesnt look like someone you could just grab their hand and they'd be cool about it so link is nervously asking for his hand)

Sothe raises an eyebrow before shrugging and holding out his hand palm up.

"can you understand this?" link's eyes flick up to glance at sothe

Sothe shrugs, " well enough i suppose. so, what's the deal hm?"

"nothing you need to concern yourself with. I may have just been slightly sensitive to some words ike said but its fine. I'm sorry to have bothered you."

Sothe snorts, " somehow that doesn't surprise me. sometimes he's great with people, and other times he's a dumbass. try not to take it too seriously. and if he pisses you off too much, smack him. that's what i do. may not make him get the point, but sure as hell makes you feel better about it." he chuckles softly.

Link blinks before he turns his face downwards and brings his hand to his mouth as he begins laughing softly

Sothe smacks Link on the back " there you go, that's the best way to deal with his idiot tendencies. laugh it off. He's stubborn, but he kind of has to be. if he didn;t act like he was always confident, even when he's wrong as all hell, he'd be kind of a shitty pushover of a leader. don;t take it personally."

Link yelps slightly when he is smacked however he keeps a smile on his face and he takes sothes hand again, "thank you. I didnt know i needed that..."
