Ike chuckles, " well i guess that bodes well for me. I appreciate the use of your training grounds to work on it."

May waves her hand, "I wouldn't call it that. When Link expressed that he wanted to be in the guard my husband made a little something where he could teach link without the kids bothering them, thats all. But it's large, quiet, and clean so it should do."

Link blushes and whines softly, "Maaaaaayyyy. No stories. I dont want to find out that you tell him any embarrassing stories." Link grumbles and grabs Ike's hand, "This way." He leads Ike out back, passing cukoo coops and other barns and shit

Ike laughs softly, " well it's still appreciated. i'll have to sneak over for baby pictures later." he winks and lets Link drag him off, grinning.

Link groans loudly, "Thank Hylia I have none of those..." He doesn't realize he's still holding Ike's hand as he leads him close to the edge of the farm where a make shift training ground was built, including a fence around the perimeter.

Ike chuckles, not really minding that the other is still dragging him by his hand. he sees a chance to tease the other a bit and squeezes Links hand, " so, enjoying yourself here?"

Link freezes and he doesn't look back at Ike as he quickly yanks his hand away, his ears bright red to give away the blush he's trying not to show

Ike laughs softly, going into the training area, " looks pretty nice. shall we get to it then?"

Link nods and goes over to a nearby barrel, grabbing a couple of hand made wooden swords, "It's okay if you break these. They're really easy to make and we have a ton."

Ike nods and grabs one, " sounds good to me, i already broke one like it training the recruits yesterday."

[MissyLooni]

"It happens. Alright, I want you to come at me first so I can perform the move and show you what should happen. Then I'll explain the process of it."

~a few hours later~

Link huffs and takes a few steps back, wiping his forehead, "That one was really good."

Ike stands straight and rubs his back, " you think so? it's harder to do than it looks, you've gotta angle just right. Im looking forward to using that hot spring thingy back at the castle, im gonna be sore tomorrow."

Link grins and sighs, "you're getting it a lot faster than i did if it makes you feel any better."

Ike chuckles, " well it does, though considering im also considerably older and further along in combat training than you were it's not surprising."

[MissyLooni]

"That and I tended to freak out a lot when Tergo tried to show me." Link sits down and sighs, "My dad used me as a verbal and physical punching bag a lot so Tergo had a hell of a time teaching me anything without causing me to panic."

Ike frowns, " ...well, that would explain why Tergo was saying he'd like to turn your dad into his next product. Im glad you confided that in me, and if i ever meet the man i may have a few things to say to him myself."
