Ike chuckles, " well, relationships tend to kinda be that way unless you just go for one night stands. But there's no depth to that." he rubs his chin, and then chuckles, " how about putting potential candidates through a, whatever that hand waving language thing thing you do is, class? label it a 'learn to talk to the hero' class. i can imagine it'd get rather boring, so only those with actually some determination to be able to really talk to you would stick with it."

Link blinks, "Teach everyone sign language? I suppose.... although to be fair I learned all this from impa because she wanted to help me."

Ike nods, " yeah, and only people who really want to get to know you would put up with learning a whole 'nother language. i dunno, im just throwing shit out there."

Link looks thoughtful for a moment before nodding, "That... could be fun." He smiles at Ike, tilting his head, "Thanks for the idea. It's honestly not a bad idea. In fact it would be nice for a lot of people to know sign language. It would benefit others who may be deaf and thats always a good thing."

Ike bows dramatically, " my genius knows no bounds. besides, gives me a chance to snoop around that class and learn a few myself. show it off to the guys at the bar, impress them." he chuckles.

"Guys at the bar?" Link blinks before chuckling, "You're that kind of guy huh?"

Ike nods, " straight as a circle. so yeah, hopefully that doesn't put you off of the sleeping in the same bed as me thing. im not trying to get into your pants i promise."

Link shakes his head, "It doesn't bother me. I trust you."

Ike smiles, " well that means a lot. now i can;t promise i won;t ever wake up with a stiffy, or get handsy in my sleep, but i would never consciously do anything without your permission."

link chuckles, "Only if you dont mind that i smack you if you do get handsy."

Ike grins, " nope, go for it. if im asleep and i get out of hand, feel free. i have a thick skull, won;t do much really." he raps his knuckles on his head and chuckles.

Link sighs and grabs his tray, "I suppose i should go see what impa has planned for today." He goes to the door to the ladder and opens it, "And who knows ike. Maybe if you ever decide to settle with one person while you're here I could give you a chance." Link heads down the ladder and puts his tray away before going to find impa, his face quickly turning red, 'did i really just fucking say that out loud....?'

Ike nods, " yeah..." he gets up to follow, blinking when he hears the other. ' wait, did i just actually hear what i think i heard?' he shakes his head to try an clear it, " you're going nuts Ike..." he heads to the mess hall and puts his tray away before seeking out the female Sheikah.

Impa was with Zelda in the throne room, carefully overseeing the princess in her duties.
