Ike nods, " well im hoping we avoid seeing him altogether for Links sake, though im sure if he does show his face i ought to be able to pick him out. After all he must have some resemblance to Link, and Links behavior will probably change."

Tergo sighs and scratches the back of his head, "wish that man just didn't exist. Or at the very least i wish link could get some proper closure with his father, like that would happen though... anyway, thanks for letting me know. I gotta finish packin' up so i can head off home. May is excited to hear im giving myself the day off tomorrow."

Ike nods, " agreed. on both accounts there. anytime, i know you care about him and he really doesn't deserve the shit he's been through. have a great day off with the missus."

Tergo laughs, "i'll probably be stuck with the kids while she gives herself a day off. But thats fine! She deserves a day more than i do! See ya around!" He goes back to packing up.

Link had finished spending time with epona and has made his way to the training area. Instead of getting a chance to train, however, he's been stuck idle chatting with Iida

Ike laughs softly and heads back, glad he'd gotten a chance to speak with the man who was more of a father to Link than his biological one had ever been.

He reaches the training grounds and blinks when he sees Link and Iida 'chatting'. " hey, Link, if you're not too busy you promised me another match. ready for round 3?"

Link looks relieved when he sees Ike and quickly nods, going over to him quickly.

Iida blinks and frowns, giving Ike a quick glare.

Ike notes the glare and shrugs, not like he'd lied, Link had promised him a match. He grabs a practice sword, then another. He'd duel wielded before, and if he wanted to best the other he had a feeling he'd need it. And he did want to beat Link, not in a mean way but he was proud of his fighting ability and having someone match him made his pride a little sore. He makes his way to an empty spot and takes a stance, both swords at the ready.

Link watches ike and snorts softly before grabbing a wooden sword and shield. Completely oblivious to Iida's glare towards ike as he gets ready.

Ike raises an eyebrow hearing the snort, " oh? what's that about huh?" he feints, making a mock swing from the left as he gets closer before striking from the right.

Link had raised his shield to block the left swing, his eyes widening when he notices the feint. He bites his lip and quickly raises his sword to block the right attack

Ike grunts as his right attack fails, sliding the left blade down along the shield to try and strike at Links legs.

Link huffs and shoves against his shield, trying to either throw ike's balance off, or at the very least get him to back up

Ike is forced to take a couple steps back, disengaging. He doesn;t wait long to press the attack again, trading blows with the other once again evenly matched.

Link manages to keep up with ike and his attacks, smiling at every block as he finally has someone who can keep up with him.

Iida chews the side of his cheek, crossing his arms, glaring at ike
