Ike shudders, " ugh...walking skeletons? you can keep those. i'd rather get out of here well before we have to see those if you don't mind."

Link chuckles and grabs a few flowers, "well we have a few minutes then." He plays with the flowers stems, gently tying them together, "I'll let you know when to go in and if one does pop up for whatever reason then i'll protect you. Personally they are my favorite enemies to fight. They're technically already dead so i dont have to feel bad about destroying them."

Ike makes an indignant noise, " it's not like im scared of them, i can protect myself thank you. I just happen to think the thought of walking skeletons is creepy and something i could happily go without seeing."

Link snorts softly as he finishes making a flower crown and quickly sneaks it on to Ike's head as fast as he can.

Ike jerks as suddenly the other lunges at him, getting defensive before he realizes what's going on and gives Link a exasperated look, " really? a flower crown? i have a big bad image to maintain here." he puffs his chest out, trying to look regal with the flowers still on his head.

Link's eyes crinkle at the large smile on his face before covering his mouth as he starts laughing

Ike smiles gently, the action had been to entertain the younger. He reaches up and gently touches the crown, " well i hope you at least picked colors to compliment me, if im going to flaunt myself so boldly i at least want to look good doing it."

Link stops chuckling and looks at Ike, his smile growing more fond, "They look great on you." Link quickly takes notice to the fireflies leaving and he pushes himself up, "Time to go."

Ike grins, " good." he also notes the fireflies leaving and quickly gets up, " way ahead of ya. lets get out of here." he starts heading back, flowers still on his head.

Link gets inside the towns walls and sighs softly, knowing the hounds wont come any closer

Ike follows, slowing when they reach the town limits. " it's late, ready to head back and hit the hay?"

Link glances back at ike, "you think soren went to bed on his own? "

Ike sighs, " well he seemed to get how important it is to be rested right now, but i planned to check before we went into your room."

Link chuckles as they head inside the castle, navigating his way to their wing with Ike, "Well, you may want to remove the flowers from your head before he sees you in them. Or anyone for that matter."

Ike shrugs, " why? not like i actually care, he knows how i am." he makes his way to Sorens room and knocks on the door.
