Ike raises an eyebrow, " but if i have the key then you'd be locked in until i got back. we'd have to copy the key so that i have a copy. you know i wouldn't mess with your room."

"Well if it was to just get food then I'd hope you come back anyway with two trays." He chuckles jokingly, "But to be fair if we do plan on continuing... this whole thing then yes, it would be wise to get you a copy."

Ike hums, " well, i suppose that is an idea, but how would i unlock the door with two trays? therein lies the dilemma." he chuckles and then shrugs, " well ultimately it's up to you. im fine with keeping it up if it's helping you out, i still sleep fine so it's no big deal to me."

Link gets ready and grabs his key. He checks everything over carefully before going over to his door and unlocks it, letting Ike out.

Soren is already grabbing food, already been awake for quite a few hours

Ike heads to the mess hall after gathering up his stuff and waves when he sees Soren, " hey, look who doesn't have his nose in a book for once." he fills a tray with food before plopping down next to him.

Soren chuckles, "As much as i love to read, books dont sustain me quite like food does. Rest well?"

Link waits until Ike leaves before going over to his desk and pulling out a rough sheet of paper and an ink pen. He sighs and writes on the paper before setting the pen down and heading out the door. He locks his door and puts his key away, turning around to walk to the mess hall only to feel himself getting shoved into the wall, "-AH!" His eyes widen when he looks at a very angry Iida.

Iida snarls, keeping his arm against Link's chest with a lot of pressure, "What the fuck was that?"

Link blinks and gulps nervously before shaking his head.

Iida presses harder, earning him a yelp, "Don't  play dumb! I saw that bastard come out of your room just now. Are you fucking him?!"

Link turns bright red and quickly shakes his head.

"Really?" Iida sneers before releasing Link, "Regardless of whether you're actually telling the truth or not it's really fucking insulting that you'll speak and hang out with someone you've barely known for a week, meanwhile, you dont hang out with the men who have laid their lives on the line for you." he turns around and storms off, heading to the training ground.

Links legs shake and he shudders, rubbing the back of his head, hissing softly as it throbs. He frowns and starts heading to the mess hall.

Ike nods, " yeah, you know me i sleep like a log." he takes a bite, " though i've seen you pass up meals to read before, so it wouldn;t have surprised me." he takes another bite, enjoying the meal totally unaware that anything out of the ordinary was happening.

Link grabs a tray once he gets to the mess hall and places a few slices of watermelon and a small glass of water, hoping to at least keep the food down. He sees ike and soren and he glances back at his meager tray, 'i should try to put something on here otherwise it'll be obvious that somethings wrong...'

Soren shrugs, "if the meal doesnt suit me then yes, i'll skip it. However, considering i have not been down here much, if at all, i figure it would be stupid of me to not consider my health before a planned mission. I am still a tactician after all."

Ike nods, " good. i mean the knowledge you're gaining is great, but i need you at the top of your game to make sure we're all doing what we need to." He takes a few more bite, glancing around and seeing Link, waving to him to invite him over.

Soren chuckles, "dont need to tell me twice." He blinks when he sees ike wave and he turns behind him to see link. He smiles and waves as well.

Link becomes extremely anxious knowing that he's been seen and quickly grabs some toast before going over to them and sitting down.

Ike blinks when he sees the meager meal Link has, " i know you're picky, but isn;t that a little...little? guess we'll have to visit Tergo to make sure and see about getting some of that smoked meat if you're not going to eat anything else."

Link shrugs at Ike's comment and pokes around at his food.

Soren frowns, noticing Link's disinterest in the small amount of food he already has, "Are you okay, Link?"

Link's eyes widen slightly and he quickly nods before shoving his food in to his mouth.

Soren slowly raises an eyebrow, 'okay, obviously not then.'

Ike raises an eyebrow, " i think we need to talk a bit later. you were fine when i left the room. but for now, we'll eat." he digs into his own food, soon finishing it off.

Link pauses in his eating and inwardly groans, 'way to go. If iida finds out....' Link nervously swallows his food before continuing to eat.

Soren finishes eating and clears his throat, "Ike, do you have any plans for the day?"

Ike nods, " yeah, actually Link was going to take me into town to see about getting us some new clothes. You're welcome to come with, and im going to try and drag Sothe with. i know we each only have a couple changes of clothes since we'd been traveling."
