Impa sits near Zelda, directing what needs to be done.

Ike makes sure Link stays next to him, going in, " hey, you two busy?"

Impa looks over, " ah, i was going to see about finding you two shortly, good timing. dismissed." she shooes off the others that were there talking to the princess at the time, " I suspect you're here to inquire about the mission we discussed before, tomorrow morning we'll have everything ready to go if your groups can be ready at that time?"

Ike blinks and nods, " correct, and yeah i don;t see a problem with that."

Link keeps his face as neutral as possible as he listens to impa. The only giveaway to his fear is the slight paleness in to his skin.

Zelda smiles and nods, "excellent. Luckily since the southern fairy is located so close to not only ordon village but the ordon spring the likelihood of monsters being in the area are low. Granted there might be a few, it wont nearly be like the north fairy."

Impa looks at Link, " of course Link will be in disguise, he Sheik and myself will be appearing as a guard escort to Ike and his group, however i will have Sheik at least strictly keeping an eye on Link while acting otherwise. You will be kept safe, we will ensure that if i have to kill your father myself."

Link hesitantly nods but doesnt relax, "and... sheik is aware of the situation i assume?"

Impa nods, " i briefed him on the situation shortly after we returned from the sheikah village. He knows his duty."

Link nods and looks down, the actual idea of going back to the village after five years makes him feel nauseous and it takes everything in him to not throw up the bile he can taste in the back of his throat.

Zelda nods and smiles, "Yes, between impa, ike, and sheik along with the others i can assure you that you shall be well protected. You needn't worry."

Impa watches him carefully, " i know this will not be easy for you, however we cannot spare you from this mission. If i could i would, but we are taking every precaution. I doubt he will recognize you, but if he somehow does he will be dealt with."

Ike puts his arm around links shoulders, " i'll be keeping an eye out for you too, stay near me and i'll kick his ass if he comes anywhere close."

Link feels Ike's arm on his shoulders and he blinks a few times. He shudders and looks up at them, "I...im sorry...for this whole mess... I know it's stupid... but i do appreciate the lengths you guys are going through to make sure im okay..."

Impa nods, " you're the most important person to this mission, whatever needs to happen to ensure this goes smoothly will be done. Was there anything else you needed?"

Ike smiles, " not me. I do need to go make a visit into town though. Want to go see Tergo with me?" he looks at Link.

Link shakes his head at Impa's question before looking at ike and quickly nodding

Ike smiles, " alright, we'll be off then. i'll let the guys know when we get back." He drops his arm off Link and heads out of the castle, " well, better to get it done than to be dreading it for longer at least. like a band-aid, just rip it off and then never think of it again."

Link follows closely behind Ike, "and.... and we might not even see him... that could happen..."

Zelda keeps her smile on until ike and link leave the thrown room before quickly looking at Impa, "Link talked. To us."

Ike nods, " yup, with a little luck he'll just stay inside and we won't see him at all. But best to hope for the best and prepare for the worst you know?"


Impa nods, " strange though those men may be, they've certainly been good for him. Or that one anyway."

Link nods and looks at Ike, smiling, "Thats why I have you, right?"

Zelda sighs softly, "As nice as it is I do feel a slight tinge of jealousy. Perhaps it's a boy thing?"

Ike chuckles, " i guess so. i can;t stay forever though, eventually i will have to go back to my own world. i mean, i haven't really got family left there, but there are people who count on me."

Impa hums thoughtfully, " perhaps, i think it's more an understanding thing. He may be young, but that man has been through a lot it seems. perhaps he understands the burden placed on the Hero, and that understanding is what makes him able to support him so well."
