Ghirahim grits his teeth, looking away before crossing his arms, "...fine." he walks out of the room, glancing at Ike, " i suppose this was your idea?"

Ike nods, " yep."

volga follows behind Ike, "I do appreciate you taking time out of your day for this, despite how uncomfortable I feel about it."

Ike laughs softly as they walk to the training yard, " well considering i don't really have plans for the day, except spend time with Link, it's not an issue. anyway there's only so much time you can spend with an unresponsive person before you lose your mind, so yeah..." He reaches the training grounds, " alright, grab a wooden training sword and how about we have a match?"

Volga takes a sword and raises an eyebrow, "I'm assuming we are only to use the swords for the match?"

Ike nods, " yes, we don't use these for normal combat obviously, they'd be almost useless." He takes a stance.

Ghirahim sighs and leans against the fence to watch.

Volga nods takes a stance, watching Ike carefully.

Ike waits for a bit, and seeing that Volga doesn;t intend to make the first move lunges forward to strike.

Volga shifts quickly to the side to avoid Ike before striking at Ike's backside.

Ike barely manages to avoid it, " sneaky one huh? nice try though."

Volga glances down at himself and hums, "I was fast before, however it would seem as though the removal of my armor has allowed my speed to increase..."

(also, considering volga can breathe fire and HAS in the game, i imagine him and alcohol do not mix xD )

Ike nods, " makes good sense certainly." he steps forward and thrusts his blade directly at Volgas stomach.

Volga takes a quick step back, giving himself distance before he pivots and goes to strike ike's side

Ike spars with Volga for a good while, getting his ass overall handed to him in the end. Ike eventually raises a hand, " alright alright, so you might be better than me. lets call it a day for now." he shakes his head and puts the very battered wooden blade away, " ugh, well i suppose it's time to show you two the showers." he heads for the bathing area, stripping down unabashedly and rinsing off before going into the tub.

Ghirahim watches the fight boredly, and follows after. his attention spikes when he sees Ike stripping, but soon sees he's just cleaning up, " well that's boring..."
