Ghirahim visits Volga, pleased to see he's doing well. He makes sure the lions share of the energy coming in goes to the dragonman, keeping only what he needs for the jobs he does for the princess.

Ike had been sleeping alone, Aiden of course was pissed at him, and though he'd tried to bring it up with Link the hero was stubborn. plus he seemed to vanish often at night, and Ike had no idea where he went. so he was at an impasse there. But he dragged Link to Oridon for the training sessions as often as he was able to find the other.

Volga tested his strength by doing a few light push ups, nodding when he finds his strength returned. A thanks are in order, and when aria is finally busy with some other task he slips out of the infirmary to locate someone. Anyone really. Most ideal being either ghirahim or Ike.

Ike was outside working with some of the men training, working with a promising group teaching them some more advanced techniques.

Ghirahim was heading to his room where he hoped Caleb would be, some new art supplies in hand as Caleb had shown interest in getting back into art again with his glasses making him able to so he was hoping to surprise him.

Link watched ike and the others from a distance, a small canteen in his hands. His fingers dugged into the leather that incased the container to keep him distracted if the alcohol in it didnt do its job. He might as well call it a flask, however if anyone asked its his canteen. Full of water. Its been getting warmer out so you have to stay hydrated after all.

Caleb happily sits at ghirahim's table, reading a rather childish looking book. It had been so long since he could pick up a book that he wanted to practice reading properly and was starting somewhere easy to figure out where he was in his reading capabilities

Ike knocked a sword out of the hands of one of the guys and laughed with him as he corrects what the guy had been doing wrong, showing him and then checking his stance and grip before nodding and having him try the move again.

Ghirahim keeps the supplies behind his back as he walks into his room, seeing Caleb and smiling, " hey there."

Caleb looks over and grins, setting his book down, "hey! Was wondering when you'd be back."

Volga glances outside and notices the men sparing outside and blinks. He could clearly see ike, and the hero was not too far either. He looks down at himself and decides the simple brown pants and off white shirt would be fine for now considering it was no secret that he had spent weeks in the infirmary. He was thankful that he didnt look too terrible now that most of his color was back and that his bandaged body was covered.
He takes a deep breath and heads outside to the training area, hoping that ike could spare him a moment when he could. He needed to get sheik back as soon as possible.

Ghirahim smiles, " yes well i had an errand i wanted to run. um, so i got you something since you've been doing the art things lately..." he pulls the packages of good quality pencils charcoal and brushes out from behind his back, as well as good paper for art and presents them to Caleb.

Ike knocks one guy off his feet and helps him back up laughing before he notices Volga, blinking in surprise at seeing him up and about. He pats the guy on the back and sets the men to practicing against each other before walking over to Volga, " hey, good to see you up and about, though is it wise so soon?"

Caleb looks at the things ghirahim holds out and his eyes widen,  "you got me- oh ghirahim.  They're lovely. " he smiles and takes the items,  looking up at ghirahim,  "that was nice of you. You've been spoiling me with gifts lately."

Volga nods, "being up and about is fine for now. Im sure the miss aria will say otherwise however im feeling stronger by the minute. Id like to discuss getting our comrades back as soon as possible."

Link blinks and sees ike and volga talking.  He caps his canteen and stuffs it away before going over to them

Ghirahim rubs the back of his neck, " well i wanted you to have some decent stuff to do your art...stuff...with. it's not like i've gotten you that much, just things you've needed. you should have the things that you need to make you happy."


Ike nods, " im glad you're feeling better, and i'd like to get moving on that too, but we should make sure you're in peak shape before we attempt. im not sure we'll get more than one try..." he blinks when he sees Link coming over, " oh hey, there you are, i was looking for you this morning for our usual trip..." he blinks as he catches a whiff of alcohol, blinking and sniffing the air before sniffing his own clothes, of course he had some now and then, just kept it moderate. had he spilled some on himself?

Caleb hugs the items before getting up and hugging ghirahim, "thank you. It does make me happy. You getting me anything makes me happy because you thought of me. I wish i knew what i could get for you..."

Link was about to speak when he sees ike start sniffing the air, before sniffing himself. He felt himself stiffen slightly in worry before taking a step back, trying to remain subtle about it, "-ah. Um.. sorry for not showing up. I... i felt tired enough to sleep. So i slept. Thought with how bad i am at sleeping that i should take whatever opportunity I could get with.. uh... sleeping."

Volga watched the two, noting ike's sniffing and links sudden rambling. He was still too injured to have all of his senses returned so he was not sure what all the sniffing was for. Did he smell? He had stayed in the infirmary for a long time so he wondered if he should have bathed first....

Ghirahim blushes slightly as he hugs Caleb back, " seeing you happy is more than enough for me. besides, you've already given me the best thing anyone ever could, acceptance, and trust, and well some sense of belonging i guess."


Ike frowns but dismisses it, " ah, well im glad you got some sleep then. um, Volga was just speaking with me that he's been feeling better, and that he wanted to start planning our rescue of Sheik and Soren."

links eyes widen and he quickly nods, "Y-Yes! Oh gosh yes! I want them back as soon as possible!" he calms a bit from his initial excitement before continuing, "ah but if any discussions are to be had then we'd have to wait until we are with the others. No point in making plans without everyone."

Caleb hums when he's held before looking up at ghirahim, "im happy to be with you ghirahim. and im happy that you're happy."

Ghirahim buries his face into Caleb's neck to hide it, feeling flustered and happy and a mess of emotions that was overwhelming. After a moment to compose himself a bit he pulls away, " well, um, i'll let you get back to your book then."

Ike nods, " very well. i'll go speak with the princess and see about gathering everyone to start planning."

Volga nods, "Very well. I plan to visit ghirahim now since i know he's been helping me. If you need to find me again later then your best bet will be the infirmary." he gives them both a simple bow before turning and leaving to go to ghirahims room

Link watches volga leave and he bites his lip a bit, "Ah I.... Im gonna go shower. Sorry again about missing this morning." link takes a few more steps back

Ike nods, " i'll come find you once i get things rolling then." He looks at Link and frowns as he starts to retreat, " hey, i've been wanting to talk with you... i know you haven;t been sleeping great, and i wanted to say that i can spend the nights with you to help you stay rested, especially with this mission coming up."
