Link sighs and sits in the other chair, "Care to explain?"

Zelda frowns and shakes her head, "im sorry but thats not happening. After this war is over Ike, soren, and sothe will need to leave. and when that happens I wont have Sothe to be my guard and currently impa is far too busy with everything to be a constant eye for me. I could use your help with you here." That wasnt entirely a lie. In fact... not a lie at all. while technically impa could continue watching the princess, she would be strapped thin again and it would be nice to have an extra sheikah around her for a guard.

[Namari]

Ike sighs, " well i know you'll keep this to yourself. Apparently... fishface can make guys able to get knocked up, and Soren is pregnant..."

Sheik looks pained, " i wish i could be of help... im hardly worthy of being guard to the royal family anymore. i've become weak, and i've lost my confidence. i'd be a liability instead of helpful."

Zelda huffs,  "you'll be trained! You'll get strong again! We will work on it! As a princess of hyrule i refuse to hand over anything or anyone to our enemy! Please dont think this is your only option in life..."

Link blinks and frowns, "ah. That sucks for soren. How is he taking it?"

Sheik winces, " ...very well, if that's what you wish. i think you are making a mistake, but it is not my place to question you. The other matter is of course the thing i carry. i offered it as a living body for Volga so that he may be strong again but he refused. Aria has not figured out a method of dealing with it otherwise yet."

Ike sighs, " he uh.... he doesn;t know yet. he's stubborn and doesn;t think a lot of what you guys can do is actually real, being told he's pregnant? even from me he'll think it's bullshit. plus there's nothing we can do about it right now. i need to tell him i think, but how to go about it... im not really sure."

Zelda nods approvingly when sheik no longer argues with her. She instead sits down and sighs, "well... i wish aria the best of luck, however without further knowledge of the twilight people i am unsure as to how far she will get. Our library barely contains anything other than the fact that it was the twilight people who attacked the kingdom during the previous hero's life. As for volga.... he is a very proud individual who has high morales and from conversations with him i know that he does not care for people to put themselves down. I did so once in passing and i nearly missed a meeting because he gave me a lecture about my self esteem and then showered me in a lot of compliments. I wont lie. It was very sudden and i am not used to that. So if you had brought the issue up to him and had mentioned yourself in a negative manner than i am sure he would have refused out of principle."

Link blinks and rubs the back of his head, "ah.... yeah i can see how uh... how you would be having issues then..."

Sheik sighs, " i have not said anything that is not true. I have gotten weak and i shouldn't even consider myself a sheikah the way i am right now. I've shamed myself and my culture. Should i lie to him to get him to accept the body? i suppose i can do that if it means serving the kingdom better..."

Ike snorts, " yeah... im in a pickle, that's for sure. He's a damn good man, but stubborn as a mule."

Zelda hums,  "have you tried not saying it at all? If he doesn't ask then you don't need to say it. Thats not lying. Just withholding information that is not relevant to the cause. "

Link sighs,  "well... i suppose he'll have to believe you when he starts.... showing. "

Sheik looks away and nods, " i... will try that."

Ike groans, " lets hope Aria can figure out a solution before then and maybe we can just like... slip him something to take care of it."

Link frowns, "I dont think hyrule has anything on male pregnancies for obvious reasons. and the library certainly doesnt have anything on twilight creatures reproductive health so im unsure if aria will find anything."

Zelda nods, "We will deal with what we can for now. If aria can figure something out then it's fine but for now I think its best to not worry about it! Especially since worrying about it is not going to help the situation. Just know, which ever outcome you choose, you have my full support."

[Namari]

Sheik bows his head, " if volga will take it, then that is the ideal outcome as he is a powerful ally. if he will not, i do not think we should let it live, one way or another. i will go offer Volga it again unless you require my presence?"

Ike nods, " yeah...well with any luck there's some potion or something that we can try. i know there were some herbs back home women would take for that sort of thing."

Link sighs, "I guess..... Do you think the hero of twilight would know anything? He's the only one I can think of who had been working with a twilight person."

Zelda shakes her head, "I'm good for now."

[Namari]

Ike groans, " just the conversation i want to have. ' hey cranky ghost, got any advice for my guy friend who got knocked up by a twilight guy?'"

Sheik bows and heads out, going to Volga's room and taking a breath to steady himself before knocking.

Link sighs and shakes his head, "Well at least he'll have information that we dont. I'm just trying to think of ways to help."

Volga hears the knocking and sighs softly as he gets out of his bed. He goes over to the door and opens it, blinking when he sees sheik, "Sheik?"

Ike nods, " yeah i know, sorry. i should probably go do that." he grunts and gets up, " thanks for listening, and breakfast, and everything." he chuckles, " i'll go take care of that."

Sheik bows, " i have come to once again make you the offer of the body i carry within me so that you may be strong again."

Link nods, " and it doesnt have to be right away. we could always wait to hear from aria. although the longer we wait the more soren has this.... affliction."

Volga looks drained and he sighs, "I dont want you to go through anymore trauma then you've already endured....."
