Ike raises an eyebrow and looks at Link consideringly, " careful what you say, i might get the wrong idea." was Soren right? With Links condition and just everything in general it seemed like it would be wrong to even think about doing anything with him, but he was being rather bold...

Link sticks his tongue out at ike, "oh hush! Cant i compliment my friend?"

Ike chuckles softly, he was looking too deeply into this. " you can, it just gets a bit odd when you start going that far with it."

Link shrugs, "i dont compliment often so im not good at it i guess. I guess i'm just honest when i want to be. "  he said too much. He shouldnt have. Ike isnt supposed to know and link will keep it that way

Ike shakes his head, " nah you're fine. just had something Soren said the other day rattle around in my head. im just over thinking things, don;t worry."

Link nods and epona trots them over to the stable, feeling very proud of herself

link chuckles and pats the side of her neck, "I see. well soren does say things that get stuck in people's heads."

Ike nods, " indeed he does. good thing too, he's usually got a better eye for things than i ever could. i rely on him to use that sharp mind of his." he climbs off the gelding and stokes the horses nose before handing off his reins, " make sure he gets brushed down."

Link gets off of epona and hums, "Im sure. we dont have many conversations together but when we do im always amazed at his ability to come up with ideas and solutions on the fly."

Ike nods, " indeed. he's my right hand man for good reason. speaking of which, i should go check on him. Feel free to come find me if Cia gives you issues."

Link nods, "Well i will now. see ya later."

Soren is resting in his bed, sipping some water while reading a book

Ike waves and heads to Soren's room, knocking gently, " hey, it's Ike."

Soren looks up and smiles when he sees ike, "Hey!" he sets the book aside, but he keeps his hold on his water

Ike smiles and walks in, " hey yourself. how you feeling?"

[MissyLooni]

Soren blinks and shrugs, frowning, "im not honestly sure. I sometimes have dizzy spells despite eating when i think im hungry and keeping up on my fluids. So for now I am just resting in bed and reading to occupy my time."
