Link wasnt in his room. he had finished showering and was now relaxing in the large bathing area

Ike decides to skip searching all over the place and sets the jars on Links table before going to Soren's room, going in after a short knock.

soren perks up from his book, "ah! hey ike. how's it going?"

Ike smiles, " good. how are you doing? figured i'd check in and see if you needed anything, like another meal?"

[MissyLooni]

soren sets the book aside and hums, "How long has it been since we last ate? didnt feel like it was more than a minute ago. or was i just that absorbed in reading again?"

Ike chuckles, " maybe i ought to talk to someone about setting up a regular meal delivery. i'll be right back." he goes and gets two trays of food, giving one to Soren and sitting down to eat his own.

soren takes the tray and munches on his food, "Thanks."

Ike nods and soon finishes his plate, " glad to help. i'll see if i can get one of the maids or something to drop a tray off a few times a day to make sure you get food. im obviously planning to visit regularly but i get caught up in things sometimes."

Soren blinks before smiling softly, "Ike, its okay. I'll manage. as long as you also take care of yourself."

Ike gives Soren a look, " dude, you just told me you thought i had just been ehre and we'd just eaten a bit ago. you get way too into your books, and right now you can;t afford to be skipping meals."

Soren stiffens before blushing a bit in embarrassment, "This is... just a really good book. honest. most of these books arent half bad as long as you believe its all fictional."

Ike shakes his head, " Soren, i know you too well. you need to have someone to make sure you at least get delivered the food at regular times. that should be enough to remind you to set the book down and eat. but i know you'll go all day without eating and not notice if you get into a book."

soren rubs the back of his head, not wanting to look ike in the eyes because they both knew ike was right, "Um... ah you... may not be entirely wrong..."

Ike sighs, " i'll look into it. anyway, for the moment i'll try and make sure i check in on you a few times a day."

Soren sighs and sets his hand down, "You really dont...." ugh he didnt want to argue, "I... i'll try to do better about watching the time."
