Ike grins, enjoying their little romantic picnic. It doesn;t take long for the food to vanish and Ike leans back, sipping at some fruit juice. " one of the best meals i've ever had."

Link nods, "it was incredibly relaxing to just enjoy lunch with you, not to mention us being here always seems to bring in girls for tergo to sell his skewers to. "

Ike smiles, " maybe we ought to plan this one more often, only next time i'd bring a blanket to sit on and something to carry all the food we collect in. you ready to head back?"

Link nods, "I would like that very much. And yeah I'm good to go back. "

[Namari]

Ike gest up and holds a hand out to Link to help him up, " i'd better check with Soren, it's early enough he may want to go out to get those samples. otherwise if not, im all yours for the rest of the day."

Link takes ikes hand and gets up as well, "if soren needs you then don't worry about me. I'd rather he gets some attention today anyway." He hums softly, "in fact I should give him an actual visit too. Not just you two tricking me into sharing my feelings."

Ike chuckles, " im sorry i had to resort to it, but it was for the best. Well perhaps we can all go to get his samples together then."

Link hums softly, "that's not a bad idea. I wouldn't mind getting out a bit as well."

" alright, it's settled. if he feels up for it we'll go get those samples tonight. if not, we'll plan that for tomorrow." he makes sure they've cleaned up after their picnic before he starts heading back with Link.

Link waves at tergo and give him a quick goodbye before following ike,  "I'm cool either way."

Ike nods, " yup, we'll just have to see." he walks next to Link, and at some point reaches over and grabs the others hand, kissing it gently before letting their clasped hands hang between them.

Link blinks when ike grabs his hand and curiously he watches as ike kisses his hand, causing the hero to turn bright red.
He quickly looks away, looking flustered since he wasn't expecting ike to do that. It was the sort of romantic intimacy that link hadn't experienced before and therefore didn't know how to respond

Ike grins, humming contentedly to himself as they walk.

Link clears his throat and looks ahead as they enter the castle.  Goddesses he wishes ike would just pin him against the wall and fuck him already. The anticipation was driving him almost as crazy as his own nervous system

Ike knew he was teasing the other a bit, but wasn't aware to what extent. after all, a little anticipation made it so much better when it finally did happen. He heads to Soren's room and knocks.
