Ike blinks and shrugs, " alright. rest well. i'll check in on you tomorrow." he gets up and grabs the empty trays to take them back.

Link blinks before waving at Soren, "Okay, well if you need anything else dont hesitate to ask." he gets up and steps out of the room

Soren huffs, "I will do my best to take care of myself thank you."

Ike snorts, " alright. at least until you get into a book anyway." he steps out of the room.

Link hums and steps away enough from sorens room that the other shouldn't be able to hear, "is he always like that? Personally I haven't burped in front of him so I wouldn't know but he seemed very agitated. "

Ike shrugs, " not usually. he's being pretty weird. is it maybe the whole pregnancy thing?"

Link shrugs, "I mean, I guess? I've never been around someone who was pregnant so I can't say for sure."

Ike sighs, " i suppose we ought to ask someone who does know. maybe that nurse chick?"

Link blinks,  "aria? Yeah I suppose so. She's been in the field forever. "

Ike nods, " i'll ask her then. wanna come with? once we figure out if Soren's okay then we can have some us time i promise."

Link blinks before shrugging, "sure why not."

Aria is in her office, filling out some reports and humming softly as she does so

Ike heads to the infirmary and knocks gently, " hello?"

Aria blinks and looks over before going to the door frame, "Ah, Ike and Link. Good to see you both. Is there something you need?"

Ike nods, " if you're not too busy i wanted to talk to you about Soren. he's... not been acting normal. he'll suddenly explode at things that would normally just annoy him a bit, hell i burped in front of him and he seemed to get really weird about it. i mean he's always been kind uptight but normally that'd earn nothing more than an eyeroll from him."

Aria blinks before smiling, "Thats normal. Women go through mood swings all the time during their pregnancies. You have to understand that his body is going through some changes that it never had to deal with before and also in a much smaller time span. Some pregnancies will even change up their taste buds and make them crave weird things and I have always known some whose sense of smell went through the roof."

Ike blinks, " oh. great. whelp, guess he's fine then. my room?" he looks at link.
