Sheik nods, " true... ugh why does he have to be so difficult about this? im just trying to keep him safe."

Zelda frowns, "because we are always keeping him safe. And he feels like it doesnt help. I mean, isnt it interesting how the more you push to keep him safe, the less he comes over to visit?"

Sheik sighs, " i hate it when you're right...damnit."

Zelda hums softly, "i feel like... if we dont smother him and we let him make decisions on his own... and just let him know that our doors are always open that he will make the right decision. That he wont feel judged if he makes a mistake and he will come to us for help when he needs it."

Sheik stays quiet for a bit, drinking his tea, " ...fine. but im going to do a background check on that so so through that if he even stole a piece of gum as a kid i'll know." he growls softly.

Zelda snorts and chuckles,  "alright,  alright. Fair enough. Just don't be too harsh on whatever you find just because he's an alpha. It wouldn't be fair for him when we consider how much we let noah get away with just because he was a beta."

Sheik snorts, " im not making the same mistakes i did with Sidon and Noah, im going to dig so far into his past that his parents heads will spin."

Zelda sighs and shakes her head, "sidon wasnt a terrible alpha. He was actually very kind. We just... werent expecting him to up and leave. At least he left to go take care of his sick mom....apparently."

Zelda sighs and looks down, "yeah... it was probably the second hardest thing link went through. I wouldnt be surprised if thats why you were so lenient when he showed up with noah."

Sheik hesitates and nods slightly, " yeah... i thought it was too soon...but he seemed happy."

"We also thought a beta wouldnt be so pushy like this."

Zelda shrugs, "link chose to break up with Noah and we are lucky that he wasnt physically abusive. It seems he is possessive but none of it surfaced until after what he wanted was taken away."
