Ike nods, " yeah, the winter can get dreary. but i just try and tell myself without it, things wouldn't be as healthy. it gives the trees and plants time to recover."

Link smiles and looks at Ike, "Thats a very sweet way to look at it."

Ike rubs the back of his neck and blushes, " well it's either that or go crazy because i hate it. i'd prefer romanticizing it a bit."

Link chuckles and pulls into the parking lot and turns off the van, "It's still something im not used to from an Alpha. I like it." He gets out of the car and smiles at the park, watching the kids play on the equipment

Ike chuckles, " well im an oddball and we all know it." he hops out and saunters towards the park, inhaling the fresh air.

Link locks the van before following Ike, "There's a nice path around the lake we could take."

Ike nods, " sounds good to me. lead the way."

Link smiles and heads to the path, passing by a few people who are jogging. He stops at the path and looms out at the water, smiling at the ducks and geese

Ike follows closely, spotting a bench near where Link stopped and gesturing to it, " looks like a great spot to relax and look out over the water."

Link snorts, "i thought we were walking, not relaxing."

Ike chuckles, " oh yeah. either way." he heads back along the path, looking at the plants alongside the path.

Link walks next to ike, enjoying the fresh air, "So, how's work going?"

[Namari]

" good. it's hard work, but it pays decently enough. with any luck i'll get drafted once i graduate, then i'll really rake in some cash. it's not super likely though, so we'll see." he chuckles.

Link smiles and gently nudges ike's arm, "Nah, you'll totally get drafted. You're an extremely hard worker and dedicated and everything they would want in a player."

Ike chuckles, " if that was all that's needed im sure yeah. but they want skill too. im good, but im not amazing. all the hard work in the world can;t overcome that if they decide im not good enough."
