Ike shrugs, " hence why i was gonna do it while we eat so you're not just staring at me looking at my phone."

Link blushes and nods, "Where do you wanna get lunch?"

Ike shrugs, "well, i'd say here since i can usually get some stuff that's about to get tossed out for free, but it's up to you what you wanna have. there's some pretty good food here at the food court."

Link shrugs, "Food here is fine. Just so we dont have to move much. But it doesnt have to be free. I have no problems buying."

Ike chuckles, " well i figured at least you'd buy your own, just because im fine with questionably fresh food doesn;t mean you are. you don;t have to buy for me though." he starts heading out of the tunnels and to the food court.

Link follows ike and shrugs, "Yeah but I like everyone to enjoy good food. So if paying a couple of bucks ensures better quality then why wouldn't i?"

Ike shrugs, " up to you, but seriously im fine with freebies." he enters the food court and looks around, " so, we've got asian, italian, greek, there's a sandwhich shop, and a burger shop, and a few others... what do you wanna get?"

"Greek sounds interesting. I'm assuming its a gyro place of sorts?"

Ike nods, " that's the main one, but there's some greek style salads and other stuff that they offer, not that they usually sell much of it."

Link nods, "I like gyro's. What do you plan on getting?"

[Namari]

Ike shrugs, " well... if you're paying i guess i'll go for that too. otherwise i'll go see what's ready to get tossed."

Link sticks his tongue out, "oh ew please dont do that..." he grabs his wallet and opens it up, pulling out a crisp fifty dollar bill, "please get whatever you want thats NOT going to be thrown out." He holds the cash out to ike.

Ike rolls his eyes and takes the cash, " it's not that bad. seriously they toss it out way before it actually goes bad." he glances around before heading to the burger place, getting a burger and fries before coming back and getting some gyros as well, taking the laden tray to a table, " mmm, smells great." he bites into a gyro and pulls out his phone, looking up the article and starting to read.

Link sits across from ike, taking small bites of his gyro, glancing up at him nervously. This was always a tough call when making friends. Either they dont care and he can stay, or they will freak out in some manner and he has to bail.

Ike eventually swallows hard and puts his food down, " dude...i had no idea. im so sorry. i know how you feel, god that's rough though. get your ass over here." he gets up and moves to sit next to Link, hugging him.
