Link's eyes water a bit as he looks up at impa, "Really? You're not just saying that to make me feel better?"

Impa raises an eyebrow, " would i say that sort of sappy crap for no reason? we want you to be happy here, the girls had a great day picking things out, and frankly it's a rather nice change of pace. the girls and the interior designer did a fantastic job."

He wipes his eyes quickly, sniffling, "man now i feel like an asshole..."

Zelda snorts softly, "you've been much worse. This is nothing."

Impa chuckles softly, " well you're a stubborn little runt that's for sure." she messes up his hair.

Ike pulls into the driveway and parks, heading up to the door and whistling softly as he looks at the mansion, " holy shit..." he shakes his head and rings the doorbell.

Link damn near jumps out of his skin when the doorbell rings and he blinks as he looks at it, "Auntie Impa, were you expecting a client to come over?"

Zelda giggles, "Ah. no. Hold on." She goes over to the door and opens it, "Hey! Welcome to the mini party. It's so good to finally meet you properly." She steps aside so that Ike can come in.

Impa chuckles, " not quite."

Ike steps in, looking around shyly, " uh, hey guys. hey Link, i hope you're not too peeved at me?"

Link's eyes widen and his stomach does a sudden flip when he sees that it's ike, "Wha..... wait what? What are you doing here? Dont you have work? and what do you mean peeved? Im so confused"

Ike chuckles, " well... they didn;t find out from the tooth fairy. and Zelda told me she's comp me for work today if i'd agree to come join the party."

Links head whips over to zelda and blinks before looking at Ike, "you.... you're here... at the mansion... in front of my family..."

Zelda chuckles, "Okay Link, dont think about it too hard. Dont want smoke to start coming out of your ears." She looks at Ike, "He might be a little shocked for a bit considering we typically dont invite other people over, even if they are 'friends'. Safety reasons of course."

Impa nods, " why don;t we just go enjoy some food? Paya made her specialty." she puts her arm around Links shoulders and steers him to the table of snacks.

Paya bounces, " i made my avacado dip!"

Ike blinks, " yeah, no problem." he heads for the food, " avacado dip?"

Zelda grabs her phone, quickly texting ike, yes avacado dip. if you want to keep your balls do NOT call it guacamole. She is really proud of herself and no one here wants to ruin it for her

Ike blinsk when his phone buzzes and pulls it out, reading the message puzzledly. so... it's guac then? i don;t get it, but okay? no calling it guac

Zelda looks at her phone and nods in approval before going over to the large table of the snacks

Link smiles and starts eating some of the snacks, looking comfortable for once

Ike takes a bite from the guac, blinking as he thinks to himself that it's literally just guac.

Paya bounces over, " isn;t the avocado dip yummy? i made it up all by myself!" she bounces slightly in excitement.

Ike blinks, then chuckles. " ah, yes the avocado dip is great." he pulls out his phone and texts zelda again, i think i get it now. how is she not an omega?

Zelda looks at the text and smiles, not entirely sure on that one. honestly we still sometimes wonder if she's just an incredibly late bloomer
