Link stares sheik down for a minute before he grins, "well i could make it worse."

Sheik makes a face, " please don't."

Impa chimes in, " yes Link, please. lets have a nice meal together? so both of you boys settle down. :

Link blinks before looking down, frowning a bit before he just goes back to eating quietly

Impa sighs softly, " it's lovely to have you here honey, but we want to have decent manners for our guest don;t we?"

Ike looks up startled, mouth full.

Link sighs, "sure i guess." he didnt want to continue this conversation. They had and used manners all the time but no one seemed to realize a football playing alpha jock probably didnt have manners himself nor would going to extreme lengths of showing manners would probably make normal people uneasy. So. Sure. Sure he guesses.

Impa sighs, wishing this had not suddenly gotten tense. " so, It was his first day on the job, Zelda i heard you were overseeing him, how did he do?"

Ike swallows his mouthful, a little nervous at the answer.

Zelda hums, "he did very well. The tile finally is showing the actual grout instead of chlorine covered scum and he's been assessing our pool toys

Impa blinks, " well, good job then. good, i would have hated regretting hiring you."

[MissyLooni]

Zelda nods, "he seems to be quite the handyman who can run out of work quickly because he has excellent work ethic so if we can find more work, whether it relates to the pool or not, I think he'd do well."

[Namari]

Impa raises an eyebrow, " is that so? i'll keep that in mind then. what other skills do you have?"

Ike makes sure his mouth is clear and rubs the back of his neck, " i um, well i've been taking classes for automobile repair and doing really well."

Impa smiles, " well, if you're bored and want to earn more money, you're welcome to take a look at our vehicles."

Zelda snorts, "goodness knows links van needs all the help it can get."

Link turns red and he huffs at zelda, "the mini mystery machine is just. Fine. Thank. You."

Zelda laughs, "only if you were going for an apocalyptic style."

Impa looks at Link, " i would feel better if you had someone look it over just to make sure everything is running well, just to keep you safe. i know you don't want to get a better vehicle, but im sure it could use a tune up."

Link sighs, "there's no better vehicle  around than my van. She's been with me for a long while.  A tune up,  fine, i admit she should get looked at more frequently now that she's an old lady but her frame is pure steel. All the vehicles on the road are made with aluminum and fiberglass. If an accident happens those tiny cars are totaled but my vehicle will maybe have a dent or just a scratch even. She's safe."

Impa nods, " that's fair. but no matter how sturdy her shell, if her innards are going there is still danger. im not asking you to give it up, im only asking that you allow him to do what he can to keep her in peak performance. regardless even if nothing else im sure the other vehicles can use work. regular oil changes and some pampering never harmed a vehicle."

Link pouts, "he can look at my van all he wants,  as long as you all leave my girl alone with the jokes."
