Link nods, "i'm sorry you had to go through with a divorce but it does sound like it as well as it could have for you all things considered. And yes, results would be appreciated! Is there any questions that you have that i could answer? Any concerns with anything at all?"

He nods, " it was for the best, honestly both she and i are much happier this way." he rubs his chin as he thinks, " not really. the job would be here from what it sounds like, otherwise seems like a standard gig. im good if you are?"

Link nods, "yes it would be here. And um yeah im good. Honestly it sounds pretty perfect. When i get those test results we can set everything up."

He nods and stands up, " alright then. i should be able to get that done within a day or two and get that to you. it usually goes pretty quick. i'll be in touch, good talking to you." he smiles and holds his hand out to shake again.

Link nods and shakes his head, "yes! It was nice talking to you too! Thank you for your time!"

He nods, " yeah, no problem. thanks for having me. uh, over here that is. i'll get those test results asap." he shakes his hand and lets go, " alright then, take care." he heads for the door, nodding to Sheik as he lets himself out and drives to the company headquarters where he can get that test done right away.

Sheik nods to him as well and goes to the room, " that sounded like it went well."

link gets up after jake leaves and sighs, looking at sheik, "Yeah that actually went really well. I think I.... might choose him. He seems very kind and his tubes are tied so he'll be shooting blanks which will be nice too. He's going to get a test done to ensure his sperm count is zero and then send it to me in a couple of days for my comfort as well."

Sheik nods, " that sounds really good. hey, i want to let you know, Ike came to work while you were talking with him. pretty sure he overheard you, acted like he did anyway. he was going to try and fight the guy until he heard you."

links eyes widen and he turns pale, "O-oh no.... i-is he still here? I didnt even hear his motorcycle!"

Sheik shakes his head, " nah, he left."

Link frowns and looks down, "Why... is he acting like this? He doesnt text me any sort of explanation for his previous actions and now this?"

Sheik sighs, " i think this time he might have been here to work and it was just bad timing. emotions are complicated, and he's trying to not fuck this up i think."

Link sighs, "I guess.... Jake mentioned that too.... that everything between Ike and I should be okay once pheromones settle and all that."

Sheik nods, " you two need to talk when this is over, but i think it'll be okay. so you like this Jake guy?"

Link looks at sheik and nods, "He's very accommodating and he even put on a cream to keep his own pheromones in check so I wouldnt be bothered. He seems very understanding and knows what he's doing. I like that in this situation since I am pretty nervous about this."
