The guy behind the booth looks over at ike, "certainly! I got quite a few-" he glances behind ike and pauses briefly when he sees link, obviously not used to seeing one of the kids from the richest family at the park,  "u- uh y- yeah quite a few back here that are normal. " he quickly sets up a normal paddle boat up.

Ike blinks, looking a bit confused by the reaction before looking back at Link, " figured we wouldn't want one of the giant swan ones. they're a bit uhh... obnoxious." he laughs softly and pulls out his wallet, starting to count out the money for the rental.

Link glances at ike and his wallet, frowning slightly, "I can get it."

Ike blinks, " i was going to use some of the money you had left at my house... but if you're sure."

[MissyLooni]

Link nods, "keep that for rent or save it in case you get sick and can't go to work, ya know? I can take care of this." He pulls out his wallet.

The rental guy gets the boat situated before going back to his counter, "all ready for you two."

Link goes over to the counter and pays for the rental.

The worker shakes a bit as he touches links money, "Th-Thank you sir!"

Ike chuckles, " alright alright." he puts his money away and smiles, " dude you don;t have to be so nervous. he's not gonna bite."

Link looks at ike and shakes his head, "its alright. A lot of people are like that."
Link looks at the guy and smiles, "thank you."

The guy looks between link and ike before nodding

Link grabs ikes arm, "c'mon, lets go enjoy the lake."

Ike blinks and lets himself be dragged along, " well yeah sure." he smiles as they get to the boat and climbs in carefully to avoid rocking it too much, " alrighty... just try not to tip us."

Link watches Ike before carefully getting in to his side, "Considering Im sure you're twice my weight in muscles alone I dont think it's me who could tip this thing over."

Ike laughs softly, " true, a kitten looks like it'd weigh more. i just meant the weight shifting." once Link in in he starts peddling, starting the thing going forward out onto the water.

Link blinks as he gets his legs in the pedals and moves as well, "it sure is nice out here."

Ike nods, " yeah, it's a great day for this. clear and sunny with just a little breeze." he paddles them out to the middle and stops, " now this is a nice place to chill, no people to pester you out here huh? except me that is." he chuckles softly.

Link looks at ike and smiles, "thats alright. I think if i had to be pestered by anyone i'm glad its you."

Ike chuckles " well, im happy to be your official pesterer then."

Link smiles before looking up at the sky, "im glad to be here. Its so peaceful...."
