Ike chuckles, " no more than normal, why? i mean yeah he's TA but he's still a decent guy."

Soren shakes his head, "you are hanging out with someone who has more money than bill gates. You do realize those kind of people dont just hang out with plebs like us, right?"

Ike shrugs, " usually i'd agree, but he really does seem cool. just give him a chance, please?"

Soren grumbles, "he's gonna be nothing but bad luck... but you can keep him as long as we keep getting food."

Ike laughs softly, " deal." he pats Soren on the back, " now will you settle down and eat?"

Soren huffs and takes a plate full of food before looking at link, "thank you very much."

Link blinks and nods, "you're  welcome."

Soren takes his food back to his room and closes the door.

Link slowly looks over at ike, "he's weird..."

Ike chuckles, " yeah, so is mr. take your wallet from your pockets before you even realize he has it. we're an odd group, but we're family, by bond if not by blood."

Link frowns and shrugs, "he at least gave it back. But whatever. Ive met weirder people."

Ike nods, " yeah, he knows i would have kicked his ass if he didn't" he looks over at Sothe.

Sothe waves a hand dismissively, " hey, while the cash was tempting, he did just buy us chow. im not a total ass."

Link takes some food and starts eating, "gotta make sure people are fed."

Ike nods, " hear hear. i've eaten like a king with this guy around." he puts an arm around Link, chuckling.

Link snorts softly and gently shoves at ike, "oh hush. You really want to eat like a king then i'll bring you over to aunte impa's place and show you how they eat."

Ike blinks and looks over, " well, i certainly wouldn;t say no if you wanted to introduce me to your family. they might get the wrong impression though." he grins.

Link scoffs, "nah. Maybe zelda.  But i'm just gonna tell them you're my friend. I'm sure they'll be happy that i actually have a friend."

Ike chuckles softly, " well at least they look out for you." he soon polishes off his plate and goes for seconds, " but on a serious note, don;t feel like you gotta do any of this, food is great and all, but you're not obligated to feed me."
