Link grabs his snacks and enjoys the movies,  not really playing attention to the time

They watch a few movies and enjoy the time, and before long the front door open and shuts, and Impa sets her things down by the door before walking to the living room, " good evening kids! have you all had dinner?"

Zelda pauses the movie so she can turn around in her chair, "Not necessarily. We've been eating but its not been actual dinner. Snacks. Movie night since we've managed to convince Link to stay over."

Link peeks over his chair and nervously waves, "Hey auntie."

Impa blinks, " Link, it's good to see you. I didn't even notice your van was here... well anyway, it's great to see you. Im famished, and while you might not be hungry junk food is not suitable nutrition. I'll have the cook make a proper dinner, and you and i can catch up in a bit Link." she hangs her coat up and goes to the kitchen, talking with the cook and soon the scent of cooking food wafts from the kitchen as they scramble to make a healthy and tasty meal.

Paya stretches and gets up, " yeah, im not all that hungry but i guess having something actually real food might be good."

Sheik nods, " yeah, some veggies to help tone down the sugar high would be good."

Link nods, staying quiet.

Zelda stretches and yawns, "Yeah, a break will help us as well. We can take an intermission."

Soon a bell is rung to let them know the meal is ready, and Impa Sheik and Paya sit at the table.

Impa gestures to a seat next to her, " please sit by me Link? it feels like it's been about half a year since we've gotten to really talk."

Zelda happily pops a squat at the table, smiling at the healthy food in front of her.

Link nods and sits down at the table next to impa. He didnt know why he always clammed up around impa. She was family and she was the only adult who took actual good care of him. Got him to see a therapist, who he still sees every thursday, got him stable and on medicine that was needed for him to function. She was so amazingly strong that it was intimidating. He wasnt used to being around an actual, successful adult and it made him more nervous than it should.
But, she was always cool about how she approached him. Never made comments or pointed out the obvious frayed nerves. Just acted like everything was normal until he calmed down and was able to be himself. He really should be around more often... even his therapist suggested that more exposure would help him not be so anxious around family.

Impa watches him from the corner of her eye carefully, waiting for him to relax a little as she eats, but not making it obvious that she's watching him. Once she sees him start to lose a bit of his tension she smiles softly, " so, Sheik of course keeps me updated, however i'd like to hear from you how things are going? You've been doing very well in class, has there been anything interesting you've learned or that's happened?"

Sheik and Paya dig into the meal happily, enjoying the skillfully cooked meal.

Zelda happily eats her meal, enjoying every last bite.

Link swallows a bit of food before humming softly, "i learned that creative writing is anything but that. And last week in psychology class we talked about learning disorders. Mainly going over the difference with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia."

Impa chuckles, " ah yes, creative writing. such an amusing name for something that tends to have such strict limitations." she nods, " im glad they're actually teaching about that sort of thing these days. they never used to."

Zelda makes a fast and looks at link, "the fuck was that last one?"

Link glances at zelda, "dyscalculia. Its a specific disorder where instead of words being jumbled, like dyslexia, it's numbers and fractions. "

"So someone could actually be unable to do math..."

Link snorts, "a lot of people without discalculia can't do math either. " he clears his throat and looks back at impa. He knew she never liked Noah. She never said anything but link could tell. Everyone could tell, "i uh.... i also dumped noah... friday night."

Impa nods, " interesting..." she blinks at that last one and hides her pleasure at the news, " oh? im sorry to hear you two had a falling out, i know you were...fond of him."

Link makes a soft tsk sound, " 'Were' being the key word...." he frowns and huffs, "But now he's being a dick..."

Zelda takes a large bite of food before looking at Link, "Yeah but at least you already have another guy trying to get with you. Only this time this new Prince Charming is really, really hot."

Link's eyes widen and turns bright red before glaring at Zelda, "Just a friend! He's only a FRIEND."

Impa raises an eyebrow, " he's harassing you? do i need to talk to our lawyer?"

Sheik chuckles, " already on it, i got this."

Impa blinks and looks at Sheik before smiling, " well thank you, if it gets out of your capabilities let me know." she looks back at Link, " well, if you've made a new friend im glad for you, just be careful, it seems to have happened rather quickly."

Zelda smiles, "i think he wants to be more than friends."

Link slouches in his seat a bit, huffing, "y-yeah well I just want to be friends. "
