Impa settles in to doze while holding Link, staying with him all night.

It's early morning when Link wakes up, groaning and squirming slightly as he wakes.

Zelda is still snoring in her own bed

Impa jolts awake and tenses before she realizes it's Link, " Link honey? you need to use the restroom?"

[MissyLooni]

Link whines softly and nods, squirming to get up

Impa quickly gets up and picks Link up, carrying him to the restroom and plopping him onto the toilet, " here we go."

[MissyLooni]

Link tiredly blinks and carefully scoots his pajama pants off before using the restroom. after a while he makes sure he's dry and that he isn't dripping with slick before getting his pants back on and washing his hands in the sink, "did you... stay with me all night?"

Impa nods, " you seemed like you needed the extra company, so yes. i've contacted work, i'll be taking the next couple of days off to stay with you."

[MissyLooni]

Link dries his hands and his lip quivers as he looks at impa, "auntie.... you didnt have to..."

Impa snorts, " of course i didn't, i don;t really 'have' to do anything. but you're my nephew, and you need me here, so here i am."

Link goes over to her and hugs her tightly

Impa hugs him back tightly, " im always here for you, you know that right? you and the others are far more important to me than my job, and no matter what i want you to be able to count on me if something happens okay?"

Links eyes water, "i just... wanted to be able to take care of myself. Thought having my heat by myself for once would show that I'm not that useless...."

Impa holds him tightly, " you're not useless, it's not your fault that happened, and yes omegas are vulnerable during their heat but that's normal."

[MissyLooni]

Link shudders and sniffles, "I'm worried he might press charges because i broke my lamp on his head but sheik said he would be stupid to do so..."

[Namari]

Impa nods, " and Sheik is correct. what you did was self defense, plain and simple. you defended yourself from what is clearly an attacker, violating their restraining order. If he's stupid enough to attempt to press charges, i have no doubt they will be dismissed."
