Zelda quickly finishes her meal, her lips covered in the sloppy sauce

Soon e3veryone is done eating and Impa wipes her lips with a napkin, and she looks over all of them with a smile, " well, it's been ages since we last had dinner all together. this was nice, even if messier than i prefer." she chuckles and stands, " i'll let you kids chat some now that Link is feeling better, excuse me." she heads to her office, catching up on some emails and paperwork.

Link and zelda watch her leave.

Zelda looks at Link, "Have you been able to get any homework done during your heat?"

Link blinks and nods, "Surprisingly, yes."

Zelda snorts softly, "More like unsurprisingly."

Paya makes a face, " the teachers go easy on omegas in heat, why not take advantage of that and skip a few assignments? they let it slide for the others."

Link frowns and shakes his head, "Absolutely not. Just because I am an Omega does not mean I want people to make things easier for me. Or harder for that matter."

Zelda looks at him and her face deadpans, "....you finished all of it, didnt you?"

Link turns a bit red before looking away, "Homework is a good distraction."

Sheik chuckles softly, " maybe next time i ought to see if they'll give you some upcoming assignments too, so you can get ahead."

Link looks back at sheik and smiles, "that actually sounds like fun."

Zelda groans and rests her head on the table, "you're such a nerd!"

Sheik snorts, " well if he's stuck indoors for his heat anyway he may as well get ahead so he can hang out with us afterwards. if he has no homework to do he has no excuses." he smirks.

Paya tilts her head, " that makes a lot of sense, in a twisted nerdy way."

Link chuckles and shakes his head, " I would still come up with excuses~" He sticks his tongue out in a teasing manner so his cousins know he isnt serious

Zelda looks up at him and shakes her head, " You'd probably find more homework to do. Maybe one of ours if we ask nicely~"

Sheik scowls at Zelda, " and if you tried, i would tell Impa. you'll do your own work."

Paya giggles, " come on you guys, lets not get Sheik all worked up."

Zelda pouts at sheik, "Oh come on! You know I never actually would. As much as I hate homework I also want Link to not do homework all the damn time."

Sheik snorts, " i am aware, im also aware that sometimes you leave things until the last moment and then have to scramble to get them done, in such times temptation is at it's greatest."

Zelda pouts, "yeah, well, link and i only have a couple of classes that are the same so its not like he would know how to do my homework for me anyway."

Link watches them talk, amused by the whole thing

Sheik rolls his eyes, " he's a smart kid, and while im not saying you're not, im fairly certain he could figure it out fairly easily regardless."

Link looks at sheik and blinks, "I love the fact that every time you and zelda fight it always turns into weird compliments towards me."
