Ike huffs, " well that does limit how i can repay you, but i also don't want to keep using you."

"You're not though. You're not using me. I've been used most of my life so i think i have the ability to decide if I'm being used or not." Link pouts and puffs his cheeks out, "i dont feel pressured to help you and you arent guilting me into giving you things."

Ike makes a frustrated noise, " you are infuriating. i feel like im using you. you keep giving me things and money and paying for things and i can't even do anything for you in return."

"I dont... i dont want you too though...i just... want to be a nice person. " link looks dejected as he slows his pace, "i dont give people things with the expectation of that kindness being returned. "

Ike sighs, " i know i know...i can't help it, you just keep giving and there's little i can do in return. it's very one sided, and i feel....helpless."

Link looks at ike, "I'm sorry... i didnt mean to make you feel like that... i know it feels like its not enough to you but i really do enjoy your honesty towards me. Your friendship. Your time. I don't get that from others. It's the only thing id ever want from you. "

Ike chuckles nervously and rubs the back of his neck, " you're gonna make me blush. i'll try to keep that in mind, though if there's anything you need, don;t hesitate to call on me. im glad i can provide some needed companionship though."

Link nods, "dont worry. Im sure i'll be coming to you for plenty of things. And im sure we'll be hanging out a bit more when we get our breaks. Maybe not as much as I'd like since you will probably be picking up extra shifts but it'll be a bit more than what i get now."

Ike nods, " you got that right. But I'll make time for you, don't worry. Unless you guys have work for me at the your cousins place, then I can work and hang out. " He chuckles

Link chuckles and smiles, "I wish we did but for the most part we really only have maids and chefs. Not sure if there would something needed done around the place. Though if I hear anything otherwise I'll let ya know."

Ike shrugs, " worth a shot. Could be the pool boy" he chuckles
