Ike chuckles, " yeah, plus you appreciate lower quality games when you can't afford the better ones."

Link chuckles,  "maybe i should stop buying the expensive games and stick to the cheap games for a year just to learn how to enjoy the expensive ones"

Ike bumps his shoulder into Links, " smartass. you wouldn't last a week playing the lower quality classics."

Link laughs, his cheeks turning slightly pink, "you're right! I have expensive tastes when it comes to video games!"

Ike snorts, " well if you enjoy it, go for it. makes no difference to me."

Link hums and looks at ike, "anything you're interested in?"

Ike blinks, " plenty, but i can;t afford new games. not these kinds anyway, i'll wait until people get tired of them and i can get them used for half or less."

Link looks at Ike, "do... you have a switch?"

Ike blinks and snorts, " of course not! i've got the old wii, but there's some good games on it. i can;t drop a few hundred dollars on a console. im sure i'll be able to get one used in a few years after people get tired of them and move onto the next one."

Link pouts and looks down, "damn... i was hoping to have a new smash partner. It's not as much fun just playing the computer."

Ike chuckles, " sorry. i mean if you have a second controller i could play you on yours, no promises that i'll be much good though."

Link nods, "of course i have more than one controller. They came out with this adorable pink and green design that made me think of watermelons so i just had to get it! And then the pikachu set was cute too! Oh but the jet black ones were so sleek and-"
Link stops talking and turns slightly red in embarrassment, "i just realized that i have more controllers for one console than i have friends..."

Ike laughs softly, " well whatever makes you happy. i guess that means some of our free time can be spent at your place playing your switch if you want."

Link nods, "yeah we could!" He looks at all the games and curiously looks at ike, "when's your birthday?"
