Link stares at the floor, sniffling, "i dont... i dont do any of that... besides, why would anyone want me here? Every time i come here i ruin something. We couldnt even have a decent dinner thanks to me and now you're leaving..."

Impa sighs, " yes you do, and no im not. come on, dinner may be a bit colder than it was but it's still there. we can still have the rest of this dinner, if you're willing to give it a try."

Link wipes his eyes and sniffles, "they dont want me there...."

Impa crosses her arms, " and what gives you that idea? i never heard them say anything like that, the girls seem nothing but excited when you say you're coming over. And Sheik even seems to perk up somewhat, though he's not in general as exuberant as the girls."

"I-i ruined dinner... we... we'll go down there and they'll be really quiet and it... it'll  be awkward..."

Impa shakes her head, " we'll start a conversation. it'll be fine, im sure they'll be more relieved we worked things out than anything else."

Link chokes back a sob and his shoulders shake, "im sorry. I shouldnt have said anything..."

Impa sighs, " we both ought to have done things differently now come here." she grabs him and pulls him into a hug.

Links bag drops to the floor and he wraps his arms around impa, hugging her tightly as he sniffles

She gently kisses the top of his head and hugs him tightly, " you are ALWAYS welcome here with our family. and you will always be part of our family even if you choose to be away from us."

Link pulls away and wipes his face, "despite what my dad did?"

Impa pulls away to look at him, " what your father did has nothing to do with you. i will NEVER blame you for his choices. you are you, and you are my nephew and i love you very much."

Link hiccups and nods, "okay..."

Impa hugs him tightly again, " now, lets get back there and reassure your cousins that you're not leaving us again. im sure Paya is a wreak."

Link nods and wipes his face some more, his eyes puffy from all the crying as he heads back to the table
