Sheik decides one of the studies will work and sets it up there, making sure there's a comfortable seat and a decent sized screen and that everything still works.

Link wants to keep texting ike but he refrains from it, knowing the alpha is actually trying to do homework

The next day Ike comes in and works hard, getting everything done as quickly as possible while still doing a good job. Once he's done Sheik shows him to the study where he's set up and shows him how to work any confusing bits before leaving. Ike texts Link letting him know he was signing on and sits down, putting the headset on.

Link had, for the first time this week, took a shower, put on decent clothes, and put his contacts in instead of eother his glasses or just being blind.
He puts on his headset and turns on discord, texting ike if he had a discord and what the username was

uh, nope. i don;t use the computer much, the one computer we have is Sorens, and he doesn;t let us really touch it.

link nods and quickly instructs ike on setting up a discord, they also have a mobile app if that helps. but anyway, this will be easier for communication while playing games

Ike nods and does what he's told to set up an account and is soon connected with Link on the app.

Link calls ike up on discord using video since he knows the pc ike is using has a video camera

Ike presses the button and blinks as suddenly Links face is on the screen, " woah hi."

Link smiles excitedly and waves, "hi!! Sorry, we can cut the video and just keep audio when the gaming starts but just for now i wanted to actually see you."

Ike chuckles, " no worries, just surprised me. it's good to see you, been awhile."

"Yeah..." link cant help but grin, "its good to see you too. I miss hanging out with you."

Ike grins, " saaaame. how've you been? not going too insane being cooped up i hope?"

Link snorts, "terribly insane. They wonder why i dont like my room but when its the only thing you see for days you get kind of sick of it."

Ike laughs, " i think you'll live. so, what super awesome amazing game we gonna play?"
