Yes, this is exactly what you think. This is a roleplay based on a 4 minute long music video which was by TWRP and Dan Avidan from NSP and GameGrumps.  Although to be fair, the characters and the setting are being used because Dan's space-sona is such a cutey.

In a world with valuable minerals, gems, energy, and innate abilities from small, fragile societies and cultures it is up to those with power and money to ensure such valuable and exotic materials and people are in the proper hands of the Universal Government.
If a few stars have to suffer in order to obtain such things...
then so be it.

Orion waited until the Tailor patted his back to let him know he was done before shifting and glancing at himself in the mirror. He couldnt help but admit that he always loved the outfits his Master picked out for him. They always showcased his gem perfectly and they were soft, easy to move in, and glittered softly in the unnatural light.
This would be the first time he would be off the planet Lygen and he was extremely nervous. It meant he had earned more trust from his Master and that was always a good thing. It meant less extreme punishments. He calmed himself briefly to ensure his gem didnt start glowing before heading down the long and tall hallways in search for the man his life was dedicated to.


Torque kept his ship hidden behind some meteors and planetary debris next to the planet that had begun to be probed by government officials, "It'll be a bit before those dumb asses arrive. Everyone, take this time to double check your weapons and sharpen any knives you plan on using."

Renshajoh lets his eyes slide to rest on their captain, he didn't particularly like the man, but he wasn't about to say that and get the whole crew riled up. " are we sure this is wise? he is not some low ranking grunt... this one has influence on many others." he shifts his weight, killing claw twitching and tapping against the metal floor. he used weapons sometimes, but usually preferred the ones nature had given him. deadly claws on both feet and hands, sharp teeth, strong muscles and fast reflexes. and the ability to change the shape of his body to suit his needs. if it got dicey he could easily form a bone blade on his tail, and use that to increase his fighting potential. this mission made him nervous, so the weapons that were part of him made him feel more at ease than the manufactured ones that could break or fail.

Torque side eyes Renshajoh and raises an eyebrow, "We hired you to fight for us and you are paid. Now is not the time for such second guessing. We are not letting them win any more. The sky is nearly depleted of stars thanks to these assholes and I'm sink and tired of seeing all of these quote unquote man made stars. We need to start hitting them where hit hurts and we also need funds while we're at it. This ship is supposed to have something of high value on it. My inside man informed me of the amount of guards and where they are stationed so we'll be fine."

Orion finds his Master at the shuttle and he stops just a few feet behind the tall man, arms placed tightly behind his back, "Master, I am ready for the trip."

Colligan turns to look at Orion and gives a soft smile, "Ah, my jewel. You are indeed polished nicely. Are you nervous? You dont seem like it."

Orion's cheeks dust a slightly darker blue as he blushes a little, "I am indeed nervous, Master. However showing such emotion is against the rules."

Colligan nods and gently trails his hand down Orion's shirt, "The tailor did an excellent job. You didn't glow, did you?"

Orion shakes his head, "Absolutely not Master. I only glow at your request."

Colligan glances around to find it still vacant of the crew and guards that were joining them, "Well... we'll be surrounded by people for a long while so how about you let it go just for a little bit. It must be hard to constantly keep it in check."

Orion blinks and nods, knowing exactly what his master wanted. He brought both hands up to his chest and closes his eyes, allowing his jewel to glow brightly.

Colligan shivers and stares at the jewel briefly before waving his hand dismissively and turning away from Orion, "I'm done looking at it. Make it stop."

Orion nods and quickly looks away as his jewel stops glowing, "Yes Master."

[Namari]

Renshajoh makes a non-committal grunt, " very well." he hoped the other planned to get well out of the quadrant after this attack, things would be hot for awhile after such an action. He paces slightly, the tension of the coming attack putting all his senses into high-drive. His pupils expand until the green of his eyes is barely visible, tongue flicking out as he tastes the air. " we will need to strike hard and quickly... make sure you stay out of my way..."

One of the techs smirks and plays with the screen in front of him, " i'll shut down their communications array just before we go in, that way they can;t call for backup, and by time they get it up and going again we'll be too far to track. try not to kill anyone okay lizard boy? that'll really put the feds in a tizzy."

Torque laughs, "Well, try is a loose word here. We saved up enough energy for a good boost outta here that even they couldnt track as long as those communications are down. Considering how many homes and planets these bastards destroyed? I'd say if you have no other choice then take a few down."

Soon the guards and crew arrive and they start preparing the ship. Once finished Colligan and Orion are lead inside and Colligan sits in a comfy, plush seat. There's a second similar chair obviously meant for Colligan's second guest however Orion knew better to sit when not told. So instead he stood obediently next to Colligan, arms still pressed behind his back.

The ship soon takes off and heads to their destination.

The tech shrugs, " you're the boss." he watches the screens until the ship takes off, waiting until they're out of sight of the stations before sending out the code to jam their frequencies. " alright! lets go!" he quickly boosts the ship over to the other, latching onto it to allow the others to board, " you've got about 15 minutes!"

Renshajoh sprints to the doors, bursting into the other ship as soon as they were in position to board. He lengthens his tail and uses it as a club, slamming it into the sides of the guards heads to knock them out as he bolts into the ship, incapacitating anyone in his way. He'd leave the looting to the others, he still didn't totally understand what things were valuable, and anyway he was paid to be muscle, nothing else.

The ship quickly turns into chaos as it's boarded. The sound of gun fire and screams are silenced just as fast as they rang out and colligan feels himself being pushed by guards and other security members to get him somewhere safe as people rushed about in a suddenly crowded room.

Orion flinches at the sudden commotion and he whips his head to look at the main doors that lead to the rest of the ship. The sounds he heard terrified him and his eyes quickly jerked to the chair his master sat in only to find it empty, "MASTER?!" his head scans the room and he begins to panic. He briefly heard a shout for his name but he couldnt place what direction it came from, "Ma-MASTER!?"

Colligan snarls when he's separated in to a different room, "ORION!! You IDIOTS!!! Why was I only grabbed and not him?! His gem is in trouble!! WHAT ON EARTH DO I PAY YOU FOR?!"

Orion flinches when the doors to the main hall break down and strangely clothed men enter the room.

Torque stays in his ship, making sure no escape pods are used on the fancy ship his men were boarding

Renshajoh runs past Orion, hissing when he sees the door that the others went into locked, " these are too heavy duty for me to break. find the things you're looking for or get Moko to hack the security system to open these."

One of the others shakes his head, " there shouldn;t be anything of value there, that seems to be the bunkers." he looks at Orion, " this kid's got some sort of jewel. hand it over!" he holds his hand out. the rest spread out and search the ship, taking anything of value.

Orion flinches and whimpers when the guy yells at him, "Ha-hand my... I- I cant- it- its a part of me." what was going on? who are these people?! Orion watches the ships valuables being taken and he feels himself begin to panic, "i-.... I have nothing of value. I'm just a servant!"

Torque can hear the conversations over the groups mics and he pushes a button on his mic to talk to his men, "Take the servant if he's refusing to give us his gem."

[Namari]

The guy nods and shoves the kid at Renshajoh, " here, take him back to the ship. we're out of here boss."

Renshajoh grunts as he catches the kid, hissing softly at the other before scooping Orion up and jogging back to the ship, setting him down once they're inside. " stay put kid." he helps the others get into the ship with their cargo, then shuts the door, " get us out of here Moko!"

The multi-armed tech detaches from the other ship and fires the boost out of the area, reaching max speed quickly and getting out of the section.

Orion stays put only because he has absolutely no idea where to even go. Despite doing his best to keep himself composed his ears twitch and tremble in his panicked state.

Torque smirks as he heads down to his crew and laughs, looking at their really good haul of high tech, expensive ship parts that would vastly improve their own, expensive silks and thick stacks of currency, "Not too bad. Nothing here makes me think this ship had a rare and valuable item but this haul we'll last us a long while. We should celebrate!"

Once the abandoned ship is quiet the surviving crew and guards trickle out of the room, checking the castle before colligan comes out disheveled, "ORION?! " he looks around before snarling, "They took him!? Is it the work of those nasty pirates!? Guards! Takes us back to home planet. I need to assemble people more competent then you bastards!"

one of the guards blinks and frowns, "For... your servant, Mr. Hound? Why? You can always buy a new one."

Colligan glares at the guard, "That boy is more important than you think! The president will have my head for this and if you ask any more questions I'll have you killed. THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU!"

Everyone in the room fall silent and the crew quickly start limping the ship back home

Renshajoh snorts, " you do that, i'll head back to my quarters." he shakes his head and walks towards his rooms, seeing Orion on the way, " oh right, you. well, they'll be busy for awhile, you may as well come with me. my quarters will be better than the shit-faced celebration they'll be having. torque will talk with you later when they're done and we're out of this quadrant im sure." he grunts and keeps walking towards his room.

Orion stays put, quiet and unsure as to what the basilisk was saying to him. Was that an invitation? To his room? That didnt sound safe... "where... am I...?"

Renshajoh glances back and stops, seriously? " you. on. ship." the kid didn;t sound particularly bright at that moment, perhaps he was having a hard time understanding universal with his accent? he could have a heavy hiss to his words.

Orion presses his hands to his chest. He felt so dizzy, "I... but im not with Master... Where is he? Why was I taken?" He knew his clothes probably had some high value but surely they werent worth enough to steal the actual body that wore them, right?!
