Orion nods and looks down,  "i have to wear thick, baggy clothing again,  don't i..."

Ren nods, " yes. we may be able to find clothing on this planet that will be less so that still hide what we need it to, seeing as it's a planet and will have more shops, but i think it is best if we keep what you are hidden. not to mention your collar... where i another race it would be less of an issue, we could simply pass you off as mine. but seeing one of my race as a slave would bring up more questions than it would quiet, not to mention if we were unlucky enough to run across another basilisk they'd probably attempt to kill me."

Orion sighs and gets out of bed, "thats a shame... i really like the clothes that missy gave me. They felt normal to me."

Ren nods sadly, " perhaps when... you return you will be permitted to wear them now and then." he hated saying things like that. he hated that he was taking him back to a master.

Orion shrugs, "maybe.... depending on what kind of people we join up with i can at least wear them in the ship..."

Ren nods slowly, " perhaps...you can at least wear them when we are secured in our own quarters anyway. i think it's best if we keep what you are as much of a secret as possible though. we don;t want word to travel to the wrong people."

Orion gives a hesitant nod and looks down, "yeah...maybe... i dont like constantly changing though...."

Ren nods, " perhaps we can figure out a way to have a flap or such to cover that part if we need to be in public."

Orion shrugs, "it would be nice... i.. could try to make it stop glowing but...after finding out that my heart is in my gem im kinda concerned about how dizzy ive felt when ive done that in the past. "

Ren frowns and nods, " yes... that is probably not healthy."

Orion picks at the fabric of his shirt and sighs,  "wish i wasnt a galakin..."

The basilisk winces, " no..., don;t wish that. it it not because you are a galakin, it is because of a few horrible people destroyed your home and race. im sorry we have to hide what you are. if we were heading someplace more remote, we wouldn't need to worry about that, but as we're going into populated areas i just don;t want to draw trouble..."

"But if i wasnt a galakin then i wouldnt need to hide who i am..."

Ren nods, " that is true, but it's not your fault that galakins need to be hidden, it is the doing of others. i have wished it were easier to fit in sometimes, but i am proud of what i am. and you can do amazing things most races could never dream of."
