Orion wraps his arms around himself and sighs, "im... thankful to have you here..."

He sighs softly, " i am sorry there is need for you to have me here. were the world ideal, it would not be necessary. but thankfully i know that should you run into any of my people, they would protect you as i do. they'd probably be just as appalled at your...situation as i am, but we do not tolerate people taking advantage of others."

Orion shrugs, "thats... honestly your opinion at this point. I dont feel like i'm being taken advantage of at all but i don't want to argue with you... you're the only one that isn't verbally harassing me. "

Renshajoh chuckles, " well, that is fair. i do find it sad however, you will never have a chance to travel the galaxies if you so wish, you are bound to whatever someone else wills."

Orion frowns and shrugs, "i'm... safer if i'm home...and after this whole thing all i want is to be safe...i really miss master... whenever i was overly nervous or upset he would hold me for a little bit until i felt better...i miss that warmth."

" safety is a matter of perception. even with me here, neither of us are truly safe. a meteor could hit our ship. something can go wrong. you just enjoy life while you can. for what it is worth, i would offer to be stand-in if it would not be creepy, and were i warmer." he chuckles softly.

Orion shakes his head,  "don't worry about it... i'll get back to master and i'll be in his arms."

Renshajoh can;t stop a growl from leaving his throat and dunks his head under the water, taking a deep breath and letting gills form on his chest, trying to calm himself. It was wrong, and there was nothing he could do about it.

Orion closes his eyes and starts to doze slightly.
He probably didnt get more than 6 minutes when the ship suddenly jerks violently, causing orion to fall back and hit the metal floor, hard, "-QUIZNACK!!"

The ship doors automatically open as the emergency alarms blare over the speakers and the lights flash red.

Torque snarls at the screen projecting an image of a woman with green skin,  red short hair and two antennae sticking out of her head,  "So this was all a setup?! You fucking bitch! "

The woman smiles and blows a kiss at the screen,  "well off course schnookums~ why would I risk my beautiful ship to be on the government's radar when i could just make some poor sap do it ~? Now,  the first hit was a warning. My next one wont be held back!  Hand over the Galakin!"

Torque crosses his arms,  "we aint afraid to fight back Simone! No one attacks a man's ship and gets away with it!!"

A small slug like creature turns their head to look at torque, "captain! She knocked our shields down!"

Renshajohs eyes snap open as he's tossed around the tank, waiting until the ship is steady before leaping out, " either come or stay in the room!" he snaps at Orion and runs out of the room, making it to the control room to hear the conversation. He growls softly, " i warned you this was a bad idea, now what do we do? Im no eye for ships, but that doesn;t look like one we can easily best, even if they didn;t already have the advantage."

Orion rubs his head and grunts as he pushes himself up, "what is going on?" He stumbles out of the room and follows ren, "cant we go five-" he enters the control room and hears a loud squeal.

Simone presses her face against the screen, "there he is! Oh my he is cuter in person!"

Orion pauses and stares at the screen, "....whaaat?"

Torque crosses his arms, "we aint giving you shit ya bitch so fuck out of here!" He pushes a button on his console, muting their end so she cant hear them, "whats our status on the warp? How much energy do we fucking have? If we pretend that we're about to attack we can just pivot to the side and jump the hell away from her!"

[Namari]

Moko looks at his readings, " well we're a hellofa lot closer to a jump than we would be if Shajoh and the kid hadn;t cleared the vents. as is, it'll still be a bit. i don;t think we can bluff that long."

Renshajoh frowns, then hisses,  turning his head away from the screen so he can't be seen talking." she cannot hear us? perhaps if we did some play acting... i know you said you would not give him up Torque, but if you make it look like some of the other crew were shouting and convinced you, and you took up positions as if to try and take him, and i were to defend... she may be amused enough to watch the show while we buy some time. if we are to do it, we must start acting it now. someone point at him then at the screen, look like you're shouting. Torque, look resigned but nod, and some of you start to close in. i will sell the rest."

Torque huffs, "do you honestly think that'll work?! Simone is a massive cunt!"

Another crewman turns around and points at orion, "Its better than fucking nothing!! We have nothing else to lose!!"

Simone raises her eyebrow as she watches them, "i dont understand whats going on now... torque sweetie did you accidentally mute yourself again hunny? We've been through this its the little yellow switch right under your coaster where you keep your crappy coffee~"

[Namari]

Renshajoh snarls and faces the one that pointed, his scales shifting to black streaked with red and his claws growing longer. His scales also change, turning into larger plating obviously for defense. He backs towards Orion, jaws wide open as he puts on a show of threatening the others, tail lashing.

Orion blinks and looks at everyone, confused. Not acting. Just generally speaking, very confused, "what... are you guys doing?"

Simone rolls her eyes, "Torque, you gave me the silent treatment throughout the entirety of our marriage so let me just do everyone here a favor and, like with our marriage, be the first to end this." She snarls at the last bit as she fires another barrage of bullets at them.

The ship jerks and the sounds of the engines failing echoes.

The slug groans as they stare at the screen, "your uh... your idea isnt work shajoh. Either that or our acting sucks. "

Orion hits the ground again when the ship jerks and he closes his eyes tightly, his head throbbing from the blaring alarm, flashing red lights and everything else
