Orion tiredly opens his eyes and gives a soft sigh, "i didnt want her... to hurt you..."

[Namari]

Ren blinks and snorts, " it'll take more than that to take me out kid. thank you though, you saved all our butts. now get some rest."

[MissyLooni]

Orion nods and hugs his pillow and falls back asleep.

Torque sighs and looks over his reports, grumbling still

[Namari]

Ren nods and heads from the room, going back to the control room, " what's the status?"

[MissyLooni]

Torque sighs and looks at renshajoh, "the nearest waystation will take a few days to get to at the rate we're going. Unless the men can put a temporary bandaid on the engine. " he looks uncomfortable for a minute before rubbing his head,  "how's.... the uh.... how's the kid?"

[Namari]

The basilisk nods, " well, better than being dead." he looks at the other and raises the ridge over his eye, " alive. tired, but alive. i suspect he'll sleep for many hours after that, but i don;t think he's in any danger."

Torque nods, "alright... good.. uh... i'll tell the men to uh.. lay off him..."

[Namari]

Ren snorts, " good, i'd rather not have to castrate any of them."

[MissyLooni]

Torque sighs, "yeah well i owe the kid for rescuing us..." he looks at ren, "we pretty much cant do shit until we get to the station so consider this a break..."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " i'd help with the engine... but i would likely just get in the way of those who actually know what they're doing. i will tend to the kid then. send a message to my datapad if you need me." he flicks his tail and heads from the control room, stopping by the kitchen for a few ration packs before heading back to his room. He tears into one and eats it, bland but nourishing.

Orion is still out cold, not showing any signs of waking up.

Torque continues to order his men around.

Orion stays asleep through out the day

Ren leaves the room only to get food for himself a few times, alternating between his basking light, the water tank, and reading on his datapad.

After a long time orion's eyes slowly open and he shudders, "ugh..."

Ren hears the noise and turns his head to look, " so he lives. i bet you feel like you just got rolled on by a tyrakil. Hungry? i have freeze dried nutritional sustenance." he gives a grin.

Orion blinks slowly and turns ro look at ren, "i...yeah... i'm hungry... i'm... also really, really thirsty...what hapoened?"
